Let me say that I've ordered in 3 pumps made in USA - 822PS worked well but was not \"pure sine\" and not designed for pedestal pumps. Replaced with ones that are pure sine but it could not pass the \"connected only to the battery pump test\" and ended up with the producer respectfully refusing to sell their most powerful pure sine pump after about 2 months of back and forth trying to diagnose why my 3/4 HP pump does not work. This product, passed all my tests (works with AC power, works one DC 12V AGM battery and worked for 5 months already), not as pricey ( as the one made in USA and is still working as it should and I have the peace of mind that in case of a storm the sump pump will be able to drain the water in case I loose power for several days.

Easy set up. Seems to be doing the job. No power outages to test it. I’ve been confused about the wattage reading as it floats. Seems to read 170. Also the charge light continues to blink green. Perhaps that is normal. No faults. Needs to run its fan several times per hour for about 10 seconds. Fan is barely audible from floor above. Impressive system overall.

I'm extremely disappointed in the product and customer service. I purchased and installed this sump pump backup and battery 5 months ago. We lost power during a hurricane, and when I went to check on the battery back up, it did not cut on. The battery or inverter was defective, leading the battery to not be charged. My finished basement flooded leading to thousands of dollars of damage. I have been contacting Vevor support for the last 5 weeks. They refuse to send me the manufacturers warranty despite my pleading. Initially they offered me $19 dollars, after admitting the battery they sold me was bad. Customer service is only through chatting and their responses are riddled with spelling errors, mistakes, and broken English. You get what you pay for. I highly recommend you do not buy from Vevor.

I needed a battery backup for my sump pump as my area gets storms that tend to knock out power for a short time. Last time it happened I was bailing water to keep my basement from flooding. This should end this issue. Runs quietly and charged fast. Price was reasonable as well. Got great reviews so I went wil this brand.

The item I received had a slight technical issue. Vevor resolved it very quickly by sending me a working replacement (which has been working flawlessly since.)

I have been looking for a backup power system for my basement sump pump. During occasional power outages with heavy rain some water gets into my basement because the sump pump is not running. This is the fourth inverter system I have purchased in my search. The previous three were all from different sellers (not VEVOR). They were all rated as powerful enough to run my 1/3 hp. pump, yet none of them did. The last one had a rating of 100,000 watts - mind you that is like running 100 toasters! But all they did was make the pump motor just hum and not start. Needless to say I returned them all. I consider this dishonest labeling and rating. So when I ordered this VEVOR 2500W system I was apprehensive, but after hooking everything up I am very satisfied. The system runs as described. I ran my pump in the bypass mode (AC on) as well as in the battery mode (no AC). I put the pump through 40 start-ups and runs in battery mode and no problems. I hope that it will last a long time :)

My previous system had a 120 volt main sump pump, and a 12 volt back-up pump in case of a power outage. With this inverter system the same pump is used, and powered by the inverter boosting 12 volts to 120 during an outage. It also keeps the battery charged and automatically switches over when necessary ( in 10 ms! ). There is an LCD screen that displays the system parameters, and an alarm sounds if a problem is detected. With regular maintenance, I feel I am well protected from the nightmare that is a flooded basement. A shout out to the vendor - After I received the 2000w unit I decided that I should also include the freezer in the loop, and the 2500w unit would be better suited. I ordered the 2500w, and they took the 2000w back - no questions asked.

Wish they would have told me I needed a battery to hook it up to.j

Unit works great. It's keeping two 110AH deep cycle batteries charged up. Have both my primary and backup pumps powered by it. It can run them both if needed. It recently handled a big rainstorm with a ton of water coming into this sump.

Bought two of these and 2 batteries as well. Installed and tested them this weekend and they work perfectly. I no longer have to worry about my basement sump pumps not working in a power outage/storm. Such a relief to know I won't ever have to hand bail sump pumps in the dark in the middle of the night.
