Comes with case and mounting hardware if you want to mount on roof rack. I have a minivan so this is overkill for me. I got stuck once a few winters ago so I'm paranoid. Very heavy and large so not in vehicle now. Will put in trunk late fall. Really made for off road adventure.
Purchased these as a Christmas gift for my daughter who had asked for a much more expensive set. I figured for the price even if they worked once, they were worth it. She is very happy with them and the fact that I was able to get her more gifts because I saved money.
