These are great skids for the price. I don't think you could fabricate these for less than asking price. The skids are around 10lbs each and are much bigger than I expected. I read reviews of people complaining about chipped paint which is completely unreasonable. These are made to scrape on the ground and the paint will be worn off quickly. Mine arrived with nice yellow powder coat that was chipped where the 2 skids had bumped together in shipping.

I haven’t installed them yet, but they appear to be excellent quality heavy duty. I believe they’re gonna work great.

Better than expected heavy duty only thing changed was a grade 8 bolt to hold it on. The runners are thick won't wear out very fast going to get a set for my Kubota and an extra set for my John Deere 410 backhoe

So far I have used it twice and it has worked great. Being able to take them off and put them back on is a breeze. I like them!

The quality of these were not as good as I expected. Without drilling hole in bucket they can slip off and the plastic knob on the hold down screws were cheap. I plan to drill out bucket and also drill out the plastic knob and install "T" handle.

My only concern is that the turning knobs are a bit on the small size. Should you tighten them up too tight, they can be a bit hard to loosen because of the smaller size. Other than that, they work just fine!

They are very durable and well made and bolt on easy as long as you drill your bucket( which I didn't like to do) but with the hole in the bucket that will not move on bucket

The bolt isn't easy to use to tighten to a bucket. I modified mine and hope that a upgraded version is offered in the future.

Ordered bucket shoes for my tractor and a PTO Shaft for a finish mower. Products were considerably less expensive than alternatives, the quality was decent, and the items are functioning just fine. Shipping was reasonably quick and free, which on items that weigh this much is a deal in itself. Thanks Vevor.
