I've had this motor on my air compressor for about a month and it's still quiet and running strong. Zero complaints about this 5hp electric motor.

Works like a champ. I highly recommend this motor. This was used to replace a burned up motor on a Craftsman table saw. By the time I would have had it rewound it would take weeks and a lot more money.

Have already put 2 Leeson( supposed to be one of the best motors you can buy) motors on my air compressor and they both burned up( melted internal wires).within a couple of months. This Vevor motor is twice as heavy as the lessons and about half the money. Another plus is it has higher rpm so it pumps up a lot quicker!

I was hesitant to purchase this motor as I thought it was too inexpensive to be good. So I purchased a three times as expensive motor from another supplier. It instantly shot sparks and smoke out of the unit so it had to be returned. Do I purchased the Vevor unit instead. It started perfectly first time. It is rated at 30 amps but you will need a 50 amp breaker for it to start without tripping. It has been in use daily for two months and has performed flawlessly hooked to my 23cfm compressor pump. Excellent product.

Nice motor replacement for my 5hp compressor, I reduced the drive pulley size to max it out at 18 amp draw as I feed it with a 20 amp circuit and it works great!

This is actually the least expensive motor I could find to replace the motor on my wood lathe. It was very easy to set up and wire by following the included directions. It is actually more motor than I anticipated and need to buy a new larger lathe pulley to slow it down some, but it definitely has the power I needed to turn large stock.
