Honestly for the price this thing cant be beat. Yes the software is rather hard to get used to but from what I noticed most any vinyl cutting software has a rather steep learning curve. I wouldn't use this to cut thick paper or cardstock as its not meant for that. The contour cutting feature is really nice to have but make sure you leave enough space from the edge of the paper to the contour lines for the camera to read and also leave a trail extra (like 3 to 4in) for the cutter to grip onto otherwise the sheet will just fall out. I was using this to cut stickers on and I found out it works best with a slight surround on the stickers. If you cut too sharp of corners it may have issues or you may need to slow the cutter down. I have pics of the stickers attached. With the round one I used the attached picture settings (Speed: 240 / Force 300). This was sticker paper with a laminate over the top and i was able to cut down to the backing paper to be able to peel them off.

The cutter works very well but the vinyl which came with the unit was just a complete waste... Why would you bundle such bad vinyl with such a great cutter..?

I wanted an Open ecosystem device, not locked into brother or cricut. I wanted to be able to do oversize prints. I wanted a free standing device. This is definitely a budget friendly option but the device has not failed me yet. the stand is fine.I can load rolls of vinyl or scrap bits. It takes a little bit of fiddling but it is fairly intuitive. The "bundle pack" is useless, the vinyl that comes with is junk, the weeding tools are junk, so skip the bundle pack option and buy some Oracal 651.If you take one thing away from this review, Buy this cutter and go buy some decent stock and tools.
