Item arrived well protected. Compared temperature at various points with one of those laser gun gizmos...good enough for me. I don't need NIST-traceable temp control. Draws about 35 watts in ECO mode and about 50 watts in MAX mode. The applicable Bluetooth app is downloadable via scanning the QR code on the included instruction sheet. Turns out it's the Alpicool app and it is wonderful for controlling/monitoring temperature as well as turning the unit on/off. I set mine to not allow setting below 5-degrees Fahrenheit nor above 60, but this is not a requirement...just a geek thing. More geek stuff...If you know what you're doing (or don't care) you can even go to advanced settings and adjust thermostat hysteresis (higher number reduces cycling but increases temperature variation) as well as thermostat calibration adjustment at 3 levels. Mine was accurate and required no adjustments. Soooo.... I was happy enough with this I purchased the 53-quart and expect similar results. Interestingly, but not surprisingly, the 32, 42, & 53 models share the same footprint....only the height differs. I like that.
