My wife and I recently started using distilled water for humidifiers. We live in a rather dry climate and the humidifier helps us both sleep better. Distilled water doesn’t cost much, but when you are going through about three gallons per week the cost can add up quickly enough. The water distiller works great. It was easy to setup and it is easy to use. Fill up to the fill line, get everything lined up, and turn it on. It does the rest and only takes about two hours to produce a gallon of water. If you use distilled water on a regular basis you should consider getting this appliance. I wonder what else it might be able to distill???

DO NOT PURCHASE. The 4L distiller showed an error code when first plugged in. It was not used once and never distilled water. Support was slow to respond and sent a replacement module, but this did not fix the issue. Vevor closed the support ticket and I am stuck with a distilled that cannot be fixed. Very disappointed.

UPS played soccer with this but Vevor stepped up and made it right by sending the broken part! As far a functionality, this does the job. Save yourself the headache and get the big one like this so you aren’t waiting forever to get the water out. One tip is it’s set for 105c to heat but if you bump that to 106c it will work almost twice as fast. Can’t complain and it produces great water. When the charcoal filter is new some TDS will get through so you can do one of two things. Dump the water and go again or I like to just dump the finished water back into the machine. After around 3 runs all of the particles will be out of the charcoal filter and you’ll be left with 1-2 TDS. Then after a few more it will be 1 TDS every run. Because it does take a while I bought 4 empty 5 gal jugs at the box store and filled them all up. Now I only have to do a batch here and there. Definitely a must buy and it works great!! Their customer support is top notch as well.

I bough this because I learned the water in Long Island comes from underground and may be contaminated with chemicals that can be carcinogenic. This equipment heats up water and condensed it back like rain water which makes it pure. Now I need to figure how to remineralized back the water & I ordered a large glass jar to store my purified water

Lets. cover the cons first--gives you a better perspective and more control . Takes about 5. hours to make a gallon of H2o. The controls are made for a college grad with a real AI backup -yes !!! Play with the controls -set-is the entry key. Touching. on the bottom right button turns unit on. 3 windows then appear-top row 2 info windows ,bottom window is about time and correct heat. Celsius is world wide used.,popular. Unit can be done in Fahrenheit , also has a button for such. learn how to use \"set\" button to arrive at 106. celsius. not 105 as unit runs faster when set at 106 . Thats a process that takes time to learn ,,once done ,you are set !! Black plastic handle at very top of machine is great for avoiding a steam bath --,to refill unit .,Do unplug the distiller first !!! wait 15 minutes not 10 to avoid scalding. yourself. Lift top unit by the very top ring handle--left to right side ,your body is on right side -avoid the steam !!!! Pouring the water out is best with a metal funnel not plastic to avoid plastic poisoning. Can be poured without the funnel but the metal funnel saves time and skin (hint!) ! Cleaning ---pay for citric acid tablets. or--use lemon juice w/ warm water using a tough green plastic. scouring pad -cheap and FAST !! Hooray!! Last of all the large white big gasket --is fabulous, has-- 3 layers --works real good .. bug bug Vevor for a replacement NOW. not later, as its top secret not to give a customer a gasket as they will never buy a new unit !! Bad Vevor! Yes ! Get a parts list from Vevor -its. fun ,,Chinese tortures,,are quite well developed!! Or get the gasket from your vendor ,...its a must do!!Big gasket lasts about 1 + years. Oh! packets of water purifiers ,,put in Nose Job container, not touching the bottom ,,leave space for water to drip. or the back flow WILL activate the the wife nuclear war button as the water will over flow leaving a huge huge mess ,,!!!!! Fold the charcoal packets neatly, allow

It has tons of uses...battery top off, steam cleaner, and drinking water. If drinking dispose of 1 pint of heads and 1 pint of tails to reduce chlorine flavor from tap water.

I have a ton of dissolved solids in my water so I use this for all the water we drink and cook with. I use it at least twice a day and it hasn't failed me once. I set it and forget it.

The shopping experience for the tabletop air distiller was fine and I love the variety (and quality) of products that Vevor has, but my unit came in with a rattle in the head / fan unit. Support was initially not great but was resolved on subsequent conversations. Initially they asked me to fix the unit myself. They sent me a decent video (that was not about my issue but helped me find it). I contacted them again after writing this review stating you should not make consumers fix their brand-new equipment. The reps I got after that were fantastic and they got me a new part. It took some time as they were out of the head units, but they did order it, kept me updated every single week, and the new part works perfectly! Easy to use cost effective no more buying water. I’ve used it everyday 3 times a day for the last 60 days no issue. Easy to use and clean. The price was right great investment for your health.
