it is a great source for semi-purification of tap water forv drinking purposes do not use your tap water if it is hooked to a salt purification system this will dry out your system.

Great item. My only small complaint is that the temp is in Celsius but that’s a small hurdle for what you get. Would buy again.

The first couple batches taste like metal. After that the water tastes better. Definitely not like zero water but you can tell it is clean. Devoid of minerals must add minerals from a product purchased. Recommend running it a couple times first. I think leaving a bit of water in bottom might avoid buildup. Recommend washing bottom of distiller to avoid buildup. The plug on mine doesn't connect as well as I would like but it is workable. Maybe it will loosen up over time and connect better. All seems good after a week. I Recommend for the price.

The ability to time the process allows you to leave some water in the distiller after processing, which makes it much easier to clean than my older version that would boil everything down to a hard crust. It takes 3 hours 10 minutes to do a batch (at sea level). I recommend getting an extra pitcher to be able to make a new batch while drinking the completed one. My kidneys do much better with distilled, your results may vary depending on how much pollution and salty mineral load is in Your tap water.

Bought this because our city water is horrible and I am a prepper so needed a way to make our tap water drinkable. This does that. Works great and will do a gallon of water in no time. Our water is really hard and this makes a gallon with little mess or limes scale. It comes with lime remover but if you wipe it out with a paper towel after each use, you only need to descale about every 50 gallons. It is easy to use and shuts itself off when done. Very quiet. I highly recommend this item. You won’t be disappointed.

I can never go back to just filtered water again..

This water distiller machine seems well built and works great. But the instructions are very poorly written and parts of it are quite difficult to understand. I finally took advice from one reviewer who suggested searching for instructions on YouTube. Fortunately, there’s lots of helpful videos that cover pretty much everything you need to know.

Well made and designed small appliance. Easy to operate and clean. I prefer the stainless vs similar other material-made models. Assembly required to install the handle on glass carafe, but was simple to do. The small replaceable carbon packets included, needs to be labelled \"replaceable carbon\" as I initially thought they were those disposable shipping packets, that are usually inside containers. Fast heat component allows for the process to begin very quickly. Definitely would not hesitate to buy it again.

Good for making distilled water, easy to use
