We use this for our QSR and it works great. I was skeptical from the mixed reviews but it has proven to be very efficient, easy to clean and 4mo later still super sharp. We use it for onions and tomatoes. We do half our onions before cutting, We have used e=several different slicers before but this one for sure has been the best. The serrated blade is worth it. We have not found the blades to bend or break like other reviews and we use this multiple times per day, every day.

This is the same slicer that you see in butcher shops. except it's just smaller. This the one you you want.

Slices paper thin and thinner. If you like chip-chopped or slices so thin that you can't pull off just one slice then this is the slicer for you. A little difficult to clean behind the blade, other than that easy to clean. Photos are of hard salami and that is not as thin as it will go.
