This is a nice weather station, though I would prefer one that required less maintenance. Before buying you should be aware that it takes batteries that will need to be replaced periodically, so you will need to mount it somewhere easily accessible. It will also need to be cleaned out and wiped down every three months or so. The display is big, bright, and easy to read. The main benefits of having a weather station are instant alerts to actionable local weather events. For example, you can set alarms for things like high wind gusts, high UV, high temperature and be alerted when they occur so you can do things like secure garbage cans/bird houses/etc. from the wind, protect plants, wear more UV protection, etc. There are a lot of similar weather stations on Amazon, so I would look around a bit to see if there are any that only use solar power. This one does but it's only a backup once the batteries run out, and it's a small panel so it won't last long.

This is now my fourth different weather station and so far this has been the best solar powered unit so far. The solar panel and battery is large enough to not only charge the device but also maintain a charge over several cloudy Pennsylvania winter days. The display is clear, the data is accurate (enough) for me and it’s the first unit where the rain gauge has worked longer than a month or two. Time will tell how this holds up but so far so good. It is also a great value. I have not used the wifi functionality or web based features.

Great device, tells me all I need for the weather and it has a bigger solar Abel to run Al the electronics, no batteries for outside unit! And got a great price!

This inexpensive weather station has really been good! It was easy to set up, easy to sync to Wunderground, and seems very accurate. I live at 9000 feet in the Rocky Mountains, and it is (sadly) normal to have gusts in the winter that approach 100mph. I have had this for several weeks now, and it has held up nicely to the wind. Also, the design of the head unit seems to keep snow and ice from accumulating on the wind vane.

This weather station is cool....this is a great value...have measured rain 1.04 Coachella valley. I bought it for the uv detector as I am in the desert all year and last summer 3 south facing sensor lights fell off my rv...all three frames melted on 92 degrees temp. It has alarms...outdoor unit very slick bubble level swivel base alignment.

Made a great gift and it is filled with more features than most at a really good price point. Solar powered sensor and AC adapter for the display. Both have battery backup.

The display is not bright enough. Otherwise, this is a good product.

This weather station is built with sturdy materials that withstand the elements well. It records data accurately and precise. Was very easy to install.
