Got this installed, primed and running at my off grid hunting camp. It is a solid unit, installed directly on 1.25 threaded sand point pipe and has a lot more pumping leverage than a short handle pitcher pump. It effectively moves water from a 12' fine mesh sand point in a tight formation. There's significant hydrostatic pressure to overcome and this pump does it. Now the negative. Had to order twice, both orders were missing a major part. How does this happen? There are 4 total parts!!! Amazon handled the issue, and I was able to make a complete unit from the 2 shipments. The interior is rough, I may try the cylinder hone mentioned in another post if it doesn't wear in. Good unit if yours comes complete. Just be sure to inspect before packing it in to a remote location! Edit after a year's operation. Water scale filled in the rough spots nicely, smooth as silk now. Still pumping and holding up well. This thing holds prime forever. Added a deprime valve below the washers for cold season use to allow the stand pipe to drain.

Mounted this hand pump on top of my functioning drilled well... Attached a foot valve to 30 feet of 1.5 PVC pipe to the bottom of this hand pump. This works great for when there are power outages, or when the grandkids, visit they enjoy pumping the hand pump for a nice refreshing drink of water.

I emailed you and asked why you have this pump available on eBay for over $30 less than on your company website? Never received any response. I feel you ripped me off. Doesn’t seem proper to treat customers like that.

We had an old well that wasn’t being used so we decided to put a hand pump on it for water access and to make that area look nice. This hand water pump really looks great and the pump handle is bigger than most which helps with the pumping. Even the water well service man said it was much better than the one they sell for more money and asked where we purchase ours from. I’m very happy with this purchase.

We bought this stand originally without the pump but decided to get the pump too. Both turned out to be good quality especially for the price. Very happy with this purchase.

The only thing is when they say 25 foot they mean it.Tbe pumpworks good utdo not crowd the 25 foot and be sure to use. Check valves, they will save you from the difficulty of pulling water up from the deep or at least makes it easier

Works well, matches the pump. Thick, strong and stable. Puts pump at a convenient height for me. Again, would be nice if the bolts were painted black. Good value for the price.

Overall, well made and works well. Looks pretty, as advertised. My only complaint is that the vertical rod going into the top of the pump is a simple piece of steel rod so it does not match the style of the rest of the pump. It also would be nice if the bolts were painted black to match. But I can live with these flaws. For the price, it is great.

If you use it as a fountain spout, I suggest you remove the footer valve (used to keep the pump primed).
