Chiller for Hydroponic reservoir
So far, the unit has been working well with not issues to speak of. I am using it for cooling a hydroponic water reservoir (32gallon brute garbage can drain to waste) running off 400watts of solar on a timer from 10am-sunset. The unit does remember the previous temperature setting which is great so I can pretty leave it unattended between adding water/nutrients. On the first day the front cover came loose, but I carefully removed re-attached and the power cord pulled out a bit from the rubber fitting on the unit showing the insulated wire, but I pushed back in, so I suggest handling with care.

Live in Florida and have an IcePod tub in the garage, and this Chiller is working fantastic with my setup. My garage is not insulated, but this chiller is efficiently cooling the tub to temp for my plunges. The controls go down to 36 and I have had the water reach 41 without insulating the tub and hoses any yet. I stopped plunging for a bit because messing with ice was a hassle but this is a game changer for me.

1/3 chiller
I bought this chiller for my ice barrel 300. I have had it for a couple months and it works great. The chiller automatically turns on when it needs to lower the temperature which I keep at 45. It pairs well with the ice barrel 300.

Great product!
Using this on my cold plunge tub and is amazing! Chills down to 37 and will lower by approx 10degrees per hour with 150 gallons at 52

Great Chiller for Cold Plunge
Bought this to use with my cold plunge tub. I have a larger tub with an estimated 110 gallons. My tub is insulated. Ambient temps around me are close to 90 degrees. Chiller dropped the temp of the water in my plunge tub ~2 degrees per hour. Once at my set temp (40 degrees for me) the chiller only runs a few hours per day to maintain that temperature. Very easy to set up and operate. Runs quiet. FAQs answered by Vevor indicate that the chiller will reach lower temps if that is what you want. Had this for about two months now and am very happy with it.

I use it for a 110gal Cold plunge and it works brilliantly. I keep it in a shaded area with concrete flooring outside. Obviously when its warmer outside it will take it longer to cool down to temperatures below 50 but it does the work. Just make sure you keep it clean especially if its being kept outside.

Works well for cold.plunge
Keeps my 150 gallon insulated cold plunge at 50* no problem. Really happy I went with this model over the larger chiller.

The Price is Amazing!
Look mine hasn't been installed yet, but the build/construction looks fantastic, and I see a few complaints about the pumps going bad quickly, and I'm and old hand/pro with all these vital pieces of hardware for optimum growth so I'm giving some very important advice to everyone whose seen a breakdown. Air pumps, basically any of the hardware you're going to use needs to be significantly air cooled as well, so your must update if it's not already present, is getting all your heat making air/water cooling/transfer delivery, so all your ballasts in a central control closet perhaps, which makes it far easier to cool with less power. More importantly, cool hardware lasts forever generally. Sure you need to service this chiller every other month/major yearly for it to keep rocking. But BIG STRESS here, nothing more importanr than keeping it cool. You'll thank me, as I'm running over a decade old major hardware, all perfectly functioning, clean, and cool.
