My chickens like this door
I had some issues with shipping, but Vevor came through for me. The Coop door is working great. I have it set 7am open and 7pm closed. It's such a pain to have to open the coop up and close it every day. This is a great purchase to keep our chickens safe. We have possums and skunks that terrorize our chickens at night. This Chicken door solved that problem.

I was not happy with the product because it was defective, however, VEVOR has great Customer Service and they worked to make it right. I appreciate that!

Solid construction with metal gears. Would be better if it would close some time after sundown.
Solid construction with metal gears.Would be better if it would close after a settable delay after sundown.Easy to install.Overall I am very satisfied.

I looked at more elaborate solar chicken coup doors and just couldn't justify $300. I found this Vevor door for under $100 and it is perfect. It was super easy to setup and program. it was super easy to install in my existing door opening. It works flawlessly everyday. It opens at day break and the chickens find their way out when they are ready. Then it is set to close at 6 PM, well after they come in to roost. Everyday with no intervention on my part. The directions for use are a bit sketchy, but once you start moving through the menus, it becomes obvious and easy. I really didn't expect it to work as well as it does. It seems like a cheap build, but really it is perfect.

I bought 2 doors. I had been stressing over getting the coops open and shut in a timely manner, particularly as the days have quickly gotten shorter. By 4pm it's dark now in the puget sound area. They are battery operated. I wish it would have a dawn to dusk feature but you can set the time you want it to open and close. Very easy to install and set up. Just 6 screws. I did add 2 pieces of wood to my A frame. Very happy with my new doors!

This is a great door! It was easy to install and works like a charm. It gives me piece of mind to know the chickens are safe and warm at night.

Easy to set up
This automatic door is easy to set up and program. The instructions were clear and made sense. I am able to adjust the sensitivity of the door so that it stops if my chickens are in the way. I can program the door to open and close on a timer setting or on a light setting. This has made my life much easier!

Love this.
I had bought a different automatic door prior to this one that had good reviews, but was also a newer Amazon product. I absolutely could not figure that one out, nothing worked, it seemed like a fake.I found this with a good price and was skeptical again to not have a bad experience, but I love this door! It’s a little bigger than other products and for me that was perfect since I already had a cut hole in my coop where the door would fit. This is SUPER easy to program. I love the different options of using time and daylight to open and close the door. I have mine set to time-time because there are too many trees blocking where sunlight would reach the sensors. It opens and closes promptly and slowly so that chickens don’t get caught.I’ve been using it for just shy of a month now and I checked the battery amount and still said 100%. I was concerned that the snow/sleet we’ve had would cause the batteries to die quicker, but so far so good. And they’re cheap batteries from Harbor Freight, so they tend not to last as long. The only concerning notes I have would be to make sure the screws for the door aren’t too tight so that the door can open and close smoothly. It does go slow, so not much force and probably won’t try to open if one corner is too tight. The other is that there is a setting for force detected if a chicken were caught in the way. I wasn’t quite able to get this properly working. I changed the amount and put my hand in the way as a test and the door still tried to close. Not sure how long it needs to feel something blocking before it opens again.

I only use VEVOR now!
I’ve been through a few doors. The first door we tried was the copy to this. One year later it still runs flawlessly on light to light mode 24/7. I tried a few other doors but they all had flaws that eventual show through. I purchased VEVOR again and should have never bought those others. I’ll never make that mistake again. VEVOR you have a life long customer in me!
