Terrible Instructions, Overall Decent Machine
I've been wanting a multi-size button maker for awhile for something fun to do in my spare time. Money is tight so I didn't want to spend a lot. The price point on this one fit the bill. I would have preferred all metal button backs. Originally, I thought this set included all plastic backs, but it has 50/50 metal/plastic button backs for all sizes. The plastic ones are nicer than I thought, although I still prefer the metal ones. The machine seems pretty sturdy and well-made. It should have taken about 10 minutes to assemble and make the first button, but the instructions are TERRIBLE. They were clearly written by someone who does not speak fluent English. My brain felt like it was melting trying to make sense of them. However, after quite some time of trial and error, I was able to get it to work. My main issues were: For the first push (A), the pins on the lower piece are not meant to go through the holes. When you move the tray over for second push (B) - applying the button back - it moves so that the pins DO go through for that push. Secondly, I had a terrible time getting the upper piece removed so I could swap sizes. It took a lot of pull - A LOT - but it finally came off. Once I figured it out, I made a couple quick buttons. It was easy and quick and they came out perfectly. I did order 90lb paper to go with it. I also made a template on PhotoShop for the different sizes. That way I can size them perfectly and cut them out rather than use the circle cutters that are included (difficult to use and basically worthless IMHO) or spend money on circle punches. The included book is okay. It was nice to have some things ready to cut out for trying out the button maker, but they are nothing I'd use otherwise. A book with a variety of general themes would have been nicer. Overall, I'm pleased so far, but will definitely update if I run into any issues.

Easy to Use!
What I love most about it is how easy it is to use. Even if you’re new to button making, the simple design and clear instructions make it a breeze. The cuts are precise, and the pressing mechanism works like a charm, making professional-looking buttons effortlessly.

Ok starter
Unfortunately the handle broke after making about 120 buttons. After getting the upgraded machine, I believe I was pressing too hard and over time broke from repeated stressing. Unfortunately with the plastic type, glue and epoxy only held for a few presses. It's an ok starter kit. I would recommend getting their red body machine with the metal dies.(I've seen it for the same price, sometimes cheaper)

Works great
Easy to use, great quality! I have had button makers that were hard to use, made poor quality or , made many miss strikes. This one works perfectly.

This button press is very nice. The buttons look great. I got the 3in1. The larger sizes press very nicely. But the 1.25" are very finnicky. I have had to throw out many due to the mylar not pressing together 100%around the button edges. I think you have to use very thin lightweight paper for those. That is not something i was told about. The lightweight copy paper does not look the best. Photo paper looks the best but it's too thick to work. Hopefully i find a resolution to the issue with the 1.25" without any more loss. I feel the company should throw in a few extra for button pieces that have a defect. There arent many but it happens.

It does take some getting use to…
Once I figured it out! What a fantastic button maker! Use the “O” ring only when making the big buttons -you will feel it in the handle when button maker is working correctly! A-is for the solid metal piece(edge down), paper & velum—-and B is for the pin part of button finished side down.-your welcome!

Best button maker
I have wanted a button maker for a long time, and even purchased one a few years ago from a different company and had to send it back because it was difficult to use and not high quality. The Vevor Button Badge maker is not only high quality but very easy to use. No assembly of the machine, I was creating buttons within minutes of opening the box!

This machine is addictive & fun but it's tricky getting the pinback aligned correctly
Making the buttons was super easy (I watched all the videos first and read many reviews and a couple blogs to prep) but my pinbacks were not aligned correctly even though I put them exactly vertical as I did for the button face. They were off by about 15 degrees. Maybe it is just my machine? I eventually learned that the tiny almost invisible arrows on the rims of the molds are there for a reason - once I started aligning the materials to the arrow rather than vertically the button came out with the pinback \"level\" to the image. It was counterintuitive because on my machine the arrow on the pinback mold is not in the same orientation as the arrow on the face mold. My brain could not accept this so I made several crooked-pin buttons before I finally tried obeying the arrows. Then the pinbacks came out level with the image. I still don't understand it... Hopefully the machine won't break like I've read in other reviews. Will update this review if it does. All supplies were included as advertised, it shipped a little late but that was not a big deal for me. Instructions are poorly written as other reviewers have noted. They should add more details about achieving correct orientation of pinback and button face. They should make the tiny almost invisible arrows VISIBLE! Black-on-black is not a great color combo. I used several thicknesses of paper and they all worked fine.
