Nice product if you keep in mind what your ordering. It is totally unassembled except for the bottom board, top telescoping cover, and inner cover. All other parts of the hive are in parts in a big, heavy box or two.
I knew all that and had no issue putting the parts together, but fitment was an issue for the frames. One side would slip together nicely, the other side would need a hammer, I split several and had to glue them back together. None of the foundation had wax, a real pain to do if you don't some equipment and of course the bee wax. Had to order $40 of bee wax, so that cut the value some for sure
That being said, it is still a good value and a very usable hive. I got it together (except for the wax) in about an hour and half. Took about two hours to wax the foundation.
I do plan on ordering another as this one is about half price a comparable hive. I know I have to finesse it together and will need to wax the foundation.
