I got the 2x72 belt grinder. The controller wiring was ripped out of the back and there was no transformer to convert from 220 to 110v. Their service department says the package weight would be in line with having a transformer. My question is, why would I lie about it? I would have nothing to gain by having an additional transformer. Besides that the controller is damaged. Terrible customer service. Would not recommend buying anything from them. I spent 1000.00+ and have a useless machine. Run! Don't buy!!!

it is the easyest to change belts on no vibration a little pricey. but you pay for what you get would order anotner one. shipping was pretty fast for the weight. weight was 237 lbs, heavy built i like it alot give it a 9.6 out of 10 it does what i need it to very pleased

Arrived with some minor cosmetic issues and a couple loose screws that required disassembly to access and tighten up before I could even turn it on. This little machine works pretty well with the flat plate attachment, but the wheel included with mine has a bad high spot that causes severe bouncing and vibration. Messaged customer support and still waiting for a response. Will update if Vevor can offer a solution

I don’t have a lot of room in my shop for a full size grinder. Although it still takes longer to complete a project, this little grinder does extremely well. I would recommend if you are looking for a belt grinder but don’t have the room or want to pay a large amount of money for a full size.

Works fine good sharpener

I started smithing with a harbor freight 1X30 because of price and footprint. This grinder blows it away for size and power. I didn't try to stall the motor, but did lean on it some. I didn't notice any slowdown. I have done some preliminary grinding, and some finish work. The flat platten needs to be surface ground a little. The vfd makes it work like a unit 10 times the price.

The manual for the control box is very difficult to understand. The grinder is very well built. Everything tracks perfectly. Belts are super easy to change. When I got everything set up and plugged in, I would turn it on only to get an Err13 code. I researched the internet, with no luck. I took a close look at the controller and found a wire had come out of its end connection. There was only around 1/8th of an inch stripped and crimped. As I was removing the cable in order to put a better end on the circuit me wire, another wire came out of its crimped end as well. Same thing, only 1/8th of an inch stripped and crimped. So, I fixed them both, put it back together and it runs perfectly.

I bought the Vevor 1x30 belt sander to replace my old HF cheap sander. Night and day difference in quality and outcome of sharpening. The variable speed makes a huge difference. The open frame design allows me to get more range of motion for sharpening odd implements. I have been using it for 2 months now and believe it to be of excellent quality. If you want a variable speed sander, this model from Vevor is an excellent choice.

I was more than pleased, did not realize it came with all the attachments,it runs very smooth and looks fantastic,it is a well built machine and can be used buy any knifemaker.

Have had my eye on one of these for several years. As most of the ones I have seen the prices were $2,500-$3,500. Much more than I could really justify. Then I saw this Vevor belt grinder being listed for ~$1,000. When it went on sale, I decided to take the plunge. Was surprised that it was shipping from a location here in the US. It arrived in about 4-6 days and was packed well and everything seemed in good order. It comes with a 120VAC to 220VAC transformer and it works well. I will be wiring the VFD directly to 220, so the transformer is just a bonus and I'll keep that for some other devices that will make it nice to have. As far as the grinder goes it was easy to assemble and runs very smooth. Love the ability to control the speed. For finer work it's really nice to run at slower speeds. Full speed is a bit scarry as this thing really moves and will remove a lot of material on the more course belts. I did the 72" mod and that works well as I can find 72" belts easier. I will be adding a longer cable from the VFD to motor, so I can locate the VFD far enough away from the grinder as not to fill up with metal grindings. All in all, I love this machine and it looks like it will perform for many years.
