Item: VEVOR Boat Fenders, 5.5\" x 20\", Inflatable ribbed with Air Pump Price: $39.35 after vendor’s 12% discount on 02 10 24 Wow… what a ‘good’ kind of surprise…! I was expecting four bumpers, and nothing more. I guess I forgot the word ‘inflatable’ when I’d ordered this set for my 1975 12-foot Valco fishing hull. In the past I remember going to my local boat supply and buying individual white ‘already-permanently inflated’ bumpers. And as for setting them up with marine rope, I was on my own. Well, these arrived as a set of four very flat bumpers. But of course, they're inflatables and came with a hand pump. And as for the tie-down ropes for each one, these all came with their own pre-attached tie-down ropes with about 64” of free rope length for tying them to my boat. The hand pump came with five needle valves for screwing into the hand pump and then pushing the fill-needles into each bumper. I guess it was presumed that, given this is a watercraft application item, extras of small hardware like the needle fill valves were a good idea. And I’d agree. And to top it all off, although I don’t know if I’ll use it as I typically tighten the bumpers to the hull when trailering the boat, there’s a fabric tote bag. All in all and with such a low unit cost (about $10 per bumper), it just makes it easy to recommend this as a very good value.
