I have an Audi 3.0 V6 and it's designed to have the oil extracted rather than drained. To drain the oil they made it as difficult as they could. You have to have a triple square socket, Phillips screwdriver, and a Torx just to remove all the fasteners from the bottom panel to access the drain plug. Then you need an Allen wrench to remove the drain plug. With this product I was able to easily stick the straw tube down the dip stick tube and fairly quickly extract all the oil (7 quarts) from the engine in less than 5 minutes without dripping any oil on the floor or myself. No jacking up the car and crawling under the car since my oil filter is also on top of the engine. Oil changes are done in a 1/4th of the time. The vacuum pump is very effective and easy to use, if my air hose isn't handy to use the air vacuum pump I don't bother and I just use the hand pump.
