Chain moves freely and easy,light weight and easy to use.

These hoist work great. I have not had any issues with them. The operate as good as the high end chain hoist.

It’s a good price

I like it. It takes a lot of pulling on the "control" chain, to move the "load" chain. So, if you are lifting for 8 feet, it will take a while.

Bought in order to hoist a 250lb dirt bike up into the rafters for storage. Neither hook is huge, but I was able to fit four strap loop ends into a single hook. The straps are 1" wide with 1500lb capacity for reference. The hooks have safety latches, but I'm not confident larger strap loops would have fit or that the latch could hold them in as the latch is thin sheet metal. The mechanical advantage of the hoist is pretty high, and it took 2 or 3min of spirited hoisting to get the bike up. The pull chain does indeed come oily/dirty and will need to be wiped down with a rag. The main lifting chain doesn't look like it could lift 2klb but I could be wrong.

Works quite well. If the chain is pulled at a slow to medium pace it doesn't get hung up. If time is taken it works just fine and will likely last a long time before wearing out the hold mechanism. Maybe longer. Appears to be well made. At this price point it is a positive investment. I recommend it as a good buy.

Came in a nasty beat up box with little packaging, entire thing was covered in oil and dirt. Outer sheet metal cover was already dented and paint job was mediocre. No deburring to speak of. It works though. It's about the quality that I expected to get for this cheap so giving it 4 stars. I recommend just going ahead and taking it apart and cleaning/deburring it when you get it.

Amazon shipped it out in the original flimsy box and UPS smashed it up in delivery. Seems like it would make a good cheap chain hoist, if someone would put some effort into the delivery.
