Product arrived in a well packaged carton & there was no damage to parts included. This is an assembly required unit that has a couple of installation variations. Tools required are a Phillips screwdriver & a 5/16” nut drive or socket. Easily assembled & gauge of metal is appropriate for the application. If you are fitting this over a 15-1/2” square flue liner, you may not need to secure. Here’s why: The interior stiffening strut of each side panel will flex slightly when this cap is pushed down over the flue liner. Thus allowing it to “grip” the liner with enough force to firmly hold it in place. The purchase price makes this a value for the money as a solution to keeping rain & debris out of the chimney. The top of the s/s cap is cross scored & bent slightly to help shed water so it doesn’t sit on the cap & pool. I would highly recommend this cap

Very good product made of stainless steel which makes it very durable to keep it wel in all the elements

I haven't tested it in the rain yet. I don't expect it to leak. I would buy it again.

I have a triple chimney, 2 are 13" x 13" and 1 is 9" x 13" the caps would NOT fit unless altered so the tops would not touch each other. Also you have to drill into the concrete crown or the tile flue and that was not a good idea to drill the tile flue and the concrete crown was way to low to attach to, sadly there is not a clamp type attachment. I made them work but wish I had found others

Fit my chimney well and keeps out rain and animals.

It did what I needed for way less money than others I looked at. Happy with it.

Very happy with the cap... but didn't come with gloves as stated nor instructions.... but didn't need either.

Not the best material but it did the job.

after assembly and attaching the angle brackets. I uses two nuts on the long bolts between the bracket and the cap, expanding to push from both sides to secure. Not sure if this is correct but it is secure.
