Bought this for a hot pot and to make awesome egg waffles - for the price? You can't beat it. It does the job and everybody was satisfied with the results.
Cons:
▪️It's in celsius instead of Fahrenheit. Not a deal breaker, but it'd be nice.
▪️It is *not* very safe for a few reasons. The handle connects directly to the heat plates. This causes the screws to also get hot. Ask me how I know how!
▪️The pan isn't fully connected - and rests in a bracket with a screw. You can pick it up and out of this bracket.
▪️The wires connecting to the top and bottom of the griddles can get tangled.
▪️The instructions and label on the device should have someone go over it. It seems to have just been put through a translator which makes it a little hard to understand.
That being said, none of these are deal breakers. If you're comfortable with the appliance having a few dangerous elements - save yourself some money and get this if you want to make a large amount of egg waffles quickly. It does the job as long as you're keeping mind of what you're doing.
