I bought this mixer after reading the recommendations of others. I use it especially for mixing bread dough. I've only had it a short time, so I haven't had time to try all of the features. That said, mixing bread dough is amazingly easy and saves kneading (a difficult task with my arthritic thumbs). It's easy to add flour when necessary; the lid on the mixer prevents splashing and has a slot for adding ingredients. The bowl is a snap to clean. The paddles go on and off without any difficulty. It sits solidly on the counter without moving during mixing. I'd recommend this mixer to anyone.
