works great u need 10 2 wire and 30 amp singlr pole breaker shelded wire and breaker can cost 100.00 doing it yourself wife loves it.

Seller uninformed electral requirements
This grill hums loudly on 120v, but does not trip my 12awg 120v circuit. It makes me question if it's really 3000w. With a 30 amp draw it should trip my 15 amp breaker. At 3000w it's meant to operate at 30 amps and would need 10awg, 125v outet, plug, and breaker which is doable, but not common in U.S. households.

Can someone tell me what plug to use
I m very pleased so far with my griddle but i m not sure i have the good plug and not sure it s 100%safe! Is this a special plug that need to be used ? So far i connected it to a regular plus that is connected to an extension cord. And that cord get extremely hot鈥?
