THIS MACHINE WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL!I honestly cannot believe how quickly it produced ice and consistently produced LOTS OF GOOD QUALITY ICE!!The cubes are 'held together' by a small sheet of ice that develops over all of the cubes as they 'drop' into the basket below, so it IS important to regularly break up the sheets into smaller cubes, because as others have commented, the machine will stop because the sheets back up and prevent more ice from being made.The ice is also SOLID ice. They are clear and pure. Not full of air or any holes.These are the perfect ice cubes for drinks, because they won't melt as fast as ice that has more surface area or air inside them.This is really a PROFESSIONAL COMMERCIAL GRADE TYPE ICE MAKER, but in a small unit that is VERY EASY TO USE!I was also impressed how long the ice frozen remained in the unit.One IMPORTANT NOTE. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HAVE THE DRAIN HOSE DRAIN!As part of this unit's operation, it DOES drain water through the melting of existing ice and some minor splashing that occurs within the unit.Regarding noise: The unit does have two front facing fans (that allows for under-counter installation), and they could be considered a bit noisy IF you had the Ice Maker running 24/7 in your kitchen, but placed in a bar area, laundry room, garage or other less quiet environment, they're barely noticeable, if at all.There was some pretty obvious cosmetic damage and a large dent that occurred during shipping, however the seller QUICKLY AND VERY COURTEOUSLY RESPONDED and dealt with the issue very fairly and immediately as promised.I have to say that other negative comments regarding their customer service surprise me.I provided exactly what they asked for (pictures of unit, box etc), tested the unit for its operation and they did not dispute anything I reported and there was only about 1 business day delay in replying (which in the online customer service world, I believe is excellent!)!I would buy from HappiBuy again, without hesitatio
