I have been using and loving this machine for over 6 months. As many of the reviews have stated, it is huge and shakes while running. Having it on a sturdy counter helps somewhat. I sell crusty bread (mostly) out of my home and slice between 40 and 100 loaves a month. The machine performed beautifully. Lately, I noticed it wasn't cutting quite as easily. I looked at the manufacturer's website and found, in the description, it plainly states that this isn't for crusty bread. They don't currently make a machine to slice crusty bread. I plan to take the blades out and resharpen. This machine works very well for soft crusted breads and does better than OK for crusty breads.

Machine arrived and was dented in a few locations. It was too heavy to repackage and ship back. It’s hard to say whose at fault since the package arrived and didn’t looked torn or anything. I would guess it was dented before shipping.

Knowing what good baking equipment costs, I was a bit skeptical buying this. The loaves we are making have a hard crust. I had to learn to wait for the loaves to cool and a piece was bent in shipping but this is a terrific piece of equipment that will work for quite a while as we scale our bakery.

Although it is huge, it is the most reasonably priced bread slicer I have found. They ALL shake as this is partly how they operate. I used it even on very warm bread, only out of the oven for an hour or so. It sliced it perfectly. No tearing or bad cuts. I am impressed. This product is half to a third the price of like products.
