Hope this can help someone; I have a 3 wire Genteq motor that I am replacing, this comes with 4-wires. 1-wire is shorter, and is a ground wire and comes with a 1/4\" eyelet, you can ground it on the unit, or pigtail it to your ground existing ground or even ignore it. As to the 3 wires, they are Brown, Black, and yellow, my old unit has Brown, black, and white, just switch the yellow to the white, as the brown and black are the same. The Shaft is longer, so measure yours, before installing the blades, the shaft also has two flat spots, my original only has one, but it works, don't worry. Lastly, the included capacitor only has two prongs, my unit and most units take 3-prongs, so you will have to buy one if yours is a 3-prong like mine, use a CBB65B 45/5 +/- 6%. Also of note, this motor's number values match up perfect with mine, except for the Amps, my original is 1.10, and this is 1.30, but all is well, and the unit is working great, time will tell. Of note, if you're thinking of buying a new A/C compressor, remember, the new freon R454B units do not come out until 2026, and all existing condenser units, including mine have had their Freon phased out already, so if you can keep your unit running for just a couple more years, you will be able to buy the new R454B condenser unit if you need one. This motor should last at least that long. Ill do a follow up in a couple of moths.
