I bought this from another site. It came well packaged inside the manufacturers box. I connected this to a water line and of possible, it's really the best way to go. It makes the best nugget ice and I'm never out of it. I can easily fill four 12 oz. cups and have some left over. It's relatively quiet and only has sound when creating ice. My only negative comment is that the instructions are not very clear for connecting the water line. I'm fact they are fairly non-existent. I had no idea if it was working because it didn't fill up the reservoir with water like you would when filling it with a pitcher of water. When connected to a water line, the water level stays very low because the intake for the ice mechanism is at the bottom. I actually emailed customer support about this initial concern but they never replied. So I hope I don't end up needing their assistance in the future. I highly recommend this ice maker.
