I have the older version of this that I bought 2 years ago. I did have to find an adapter to get the fitting on it (looks like this new version may have remedied that?) and I feel like the wire was a smaller gauge than I was comfortable with so i cut it and put a thicker pump wire on it. That being said, I've had it in operation for 2 summers now and it's about 95 ft down in my well. It's been working flawlessly the entire time. Until we build something permanent, this paired with a small pressure tank on top of the well is servicing my camper perfectly. Plenty of pressure for a nice strong shower. I was able to run 2 sprinklers full blast on it but a 3rd started pushing its limits a bit. I put a check valve on the line before installing for extra measure but I don't know if it was necessary or not. Ours is in bedrock and there's still quite a bit of sediment that gets caught in my filters. I feel like it's been sufficiently stress tested for me to give my seal of approval. Compared to name brand pumps, I could replace this thing 7 times and still come out ahead. Even if it died tomorrow, the value is outstanding and I'd immediately buy another. Thumbs up from me!
