We’ve purchased many items from VEVOR and we are very happy with them and intend to continue in the future. Shipping is fast. My wife has a recent cancer diagnosis, 2 weeks later she’s in for bilateral mastectomy. We have a 9 month old German Shepherd puppy with massive energy and have yet to let her off leash. Post surgery we won’t be walking her for many weeks, we decided to fence in an area for her to run w/out taking off and ending up who knows where. We live on an 8 acre field so we picked out an area that is 100 feet long by 50 feet wide to fence in. My son and I were digging the holes for the posts when we ran into some boulders beneath the soil way too large to remove, some were only 3 - 4” deep, others were just below the surface. It ended up being on the 100’ side, It was 8 out of the 10 that had to be drilled and hammered out. While digging the holes the hammer arrived.😃! Using an SDS MAX w/1/2” X 21” bit drilling holes 12” in diameter x 18” in depth, we’d drill 6”, chisel out 3”,clean out, rinse, repeat, for all holes needing drilling. After reading the manual and post setup, we used it almost immediately. drilled holes +/-1” apart, a lot of holes to drill. 😳😤😆. The manual states that you have to put grease (oil) in the gear box before use, approximately 60g of 15W/40 hydraulic oil. There is a clear sight glass that is used as a gear box plug that threads in, it uses a rubber O-ring that functions as a seal. When viewing the oil level through the sight glass, ensuring that the hammer is standing vertical, with the bit end towards the ground, the oil should be just a very small bit below the center of the glass. After approximately 50 hours you are to open the cap and tip the hammer onto its side to drain the oil out, then refill with the appropriate oil with around 60g. The issue with the one I received is, while using the hammer, the oil would warm up, this phenomenon is normal, however during the 5th hole it began to drain out, running down the shaft of the bit through the hole where the bit is inserted and locked into place (chuck) this phenomenon is not normal🤷. Hence, we had to stop using the hammer. At first I thought that maybe it was the small amount of grease that I applied to the chuck end of the bit before locking it in place that was running out. After checking everything out this is not possible, there is too much running out and the oil keeps needing refilling after a short while, making use of the hammer extremely inefficient. The hammer arrived on 3 October 2024 and has a very small amount of time on it. This fence is critical for us to complete in a very timely manner, (before the ground freezes) the hammer is the tool that will help make this possible. We chose the 3500w model as it appears as though it is the most durable and would be the most reliable. Take away the leak, the hammer functions exactly as designed, very effective.

Great tool for the price
For the price, this is an excellent buy. I bought it Wednesday, received it Friday and had the concrete chipped out Saturday. I couldn’t be happier. Why did I buy this? The price was comparable to having someone dig out the 3’x3’x18” concrete pad that city left behind when they cut out the post office box and moved it down the street. But buying it to DIY this allowed me have a tool to own rather than just paying someone to do it for me.

So Far, So Good for General Home DIY Projects
This demolition jack hammer has been a solid performer for my general home DIY projects. I’ve used it to rip up sidewalks and remove a flagpole concrete base, and it handled both tasks. Mine has the 2200W motor and 1350 BPM making quick work of tough concrete compared to my smaller tools.

Pleasantly surprised
For the price, I wasn’t expecting much. Like most other reviewers reasoned, the price to buy this was more or less the same to rent, and I figured why not just buy. I wanted to bust up some concrete footings in my back yard that were used for a privacy fence. Everything was perfect and well protected. I’m very happy with this breaker, and I’m sure I’ll use it for other projects as they come up. Worth every penny.

It was either this for my patio or rent a larger one for the same price.
I have a large concrete patio that I need to demo. I didn't want to do it all at once. Renting one for 2 hours is about the same cost on this unit. It works surprisingly well. The concrete is about 1 foot thick and a little thicker in some places. It breaks right through and overall haven't noticed it getting too hot and overheating. One person found this helpful

Dig impossible holes
I use it to break through rocks and cement in holes I am making for trees and shrubs that my wife is planting. Before this, I would spend hours digging out big blocks of rock and concrete or give up on the hole, but now jackhammer does the job in 30 minutes tops.

A 50 pound beast of a machine!
The excavator couldn't get through the rocks for footings so I knew I had a few solid days of jackhammering ahead of me. Instead of renting, I decided to buy this and am sure happy that I did as it has already paid for itself. I started with the shovel blade, slowly chipping away at the boulders. After 30 minutes of slow progress with the shovel blade, I switched to the pointed chisel and annihilated whatever glacial till was in front of me in seconds. The extra brushes arrived crushed, but a note to the Vevor support site resulted in a very quick response that a new set is on its way. Very satisfied with this purchase.
