I had a large boulder to remove/move to do some landscaping on a sloped area near a lower bedroom window. I had a bid of $1,200 to move it sight unseen which would most likely be higher when he came out to our house. Home Depot was $120 for a 4 hour period but since I did not know how many 4 hour periods I would need or if I even could operate their jack hammer for 4 hours at a time I looked into the VEVOR 220X Electric Jackhammer. I read every review and decided to purchase their jackhammer. To my surprise it arrived 3 days later.
I had spent 3 hours prior to this purchase using my Bauer hammer drill drying to break up this boulder. My next attempt was with the VEVOR hammer drill. It took me (3) 2 ½ hour sessions to complete the job of breaking up this large boulder, it was large to me. I loaded all the pieces in my wheel barrow and hauled them up to the driveway, this took 14 trips.I am now putting multiple pieces in our trash every week for pickup. Still at that! I do not know when I will next need to use this great tool but if and when I do I am sure it will do the job without breaking my back. I am 72 so I try to only attempt jobs around the house that I can complete once I start.
If you need a jack hammer this is well worth buying!
