The tool does a good job. Breaking concrete is real work though.
I am a 60 year old DIY guy in good shape. I was able to use this to break up a very thick concrete pad (6\" in some places) in a few hours which included hammer breaks to pry bits apart and move them out of the way. Breaking up a freestanding chunk not bound by other concrete is very quick if you make some big fragments. I started with the chisel bit but ended up doing most of the work with the pointed one. After you do it awhile you will get the hang of how to fracture stuff and how to prevent bit binding. If you break off the sides so the concrete has a place to go the cracking is much easier. Buy some ISO 46 oil when you get this. YouTube has videos where people add the oil by removing the whole cover plate. No need to do that. Just remove the sight glass fill plug and add until slightly down from the top. Also add some grease to the bit where it inserts into the tool. Fiddle with the lock pin until you know how it works and the bit stays in. It is not as loud as I thought it would be but I recommend hearing protection. I also used a full face mask. There will be some dust also that you may need protection from in low wind conditions. It's a good tool. I got the 2200W one. I had previously purchased $300 worth of concrete saw and blade and this is much faster than that method.

Excellent Tool
Bought the 4 spade tool. The pointed one to start busting up asphalt around tree root incursion. The large flat tip for scraping. Smaller flat scraper if you need more precise scraping. The shovel for dirt digging in heavily compacted clay soil to loosen tree roots. Overall , happy with tool. Only downside is the case that it arrived in was cracked.

Used the demo hammer to bust up a concrete step and walkway. It performed well. Does not have damped handles so I wouldn't spend all day on it but it did well for the price. I will use this occasionally. Don't know if it will work for an everyday job.

It's jacked
Beast mode on Dollar General wages. It takes no crap and can pound all night long. I'm jelly to say the least. Will make your arms jelly as well. Find a better one cheaper, I dare you!

Amazing for the price!
I had a really thick and high strength Porch to remove so I could work on my foundation... When I saw this Demo Jack Hammer for under $200 I was like, what have I got to lose? All I had to do was add the Hydraulic oil and figure out how to insert the Bit. (Not easy! - I will not be removing it because I have no clue how to do that) First we demoed a sidewalk for a friend, his water line had broken underneath. This was pretty easy, it was only 2 inches thick. Worked like I dream. Then we set to work on the thick slab. Turned out it was only 10-12 inches thick around the outside, it was poured over a previous slab and they used high strength cement to make sure it held. Well, it was holding! But this Jackhammer allowed us to take it down 3-4 inches at a time, we just cracked away at it. It needs to be pushed down to fire off, and if you get it too close to the edge it will jump and dump you off. But the power was there and we removed that 10 foot x 10 foot slab in about 8 hours or so. Crazy that it works so well and costs so little. I have already gotten my moneys worth out of it. 1 more job and I will be ahead! Unit is still going strong.

Great price to value ratio!
You can’t rent a jackhammer for the price. I was skeptical. This thing makes short work of breaking up concrete slab. Couple of notes: The oil appears to run out fast. I was concerned after 10-15 minutes of use. It seemed to have used a lot of oil. I added more and then it didn’t seem to use any for the next 2 hours. My mistake. The chisel has to be fully engaged in the socket in order to function. For a few minutes, I got a lot of noise and no action. Accidentally, the chisel fell into position and it was on. I learned to ‘plant’ the chisel on the concrete which seemed to work well. This wasn’t as much of a problem after some use. The machine is heavier than I expected, but turns out to be advantageous. The weight helps the breaking action. My project is done so I will likely resell it. I think it could last a long time given the experience that I have had. It comes with replacement brushes which was a surprise.

Oh my God
This hammer is a beast. For the price one cannot beat it! I had to go through customer service to figure out the oil level in the sight bubble. Per CS; it is "When the machine is upright and the oil level is lower than 1/3, you need to add 46# hydraulic oil. Add oil to 2/3 of the way" I used the hammer to pound inground supports to heavy up my deck. No room under for post hole digging. 34" tall spike and went in without thinking hard! Rocky soil and it did not hiccup once. Note: the bits are not universal. I had to purchase a separate tool for the spikes I was using and had to grind the new bit to fit. Careful what bits you get!

Great, but may be better choices
This jackhammer works wonderfully! It's controllable and easy to use. This hammer is perfect for breaking up rock or concrete, especially if you need to do a lot of it. Be aware that this tool does not have a rotary function. For example, it cannot drill holes in rock or masonry. If this is something you might do, the SDS-max rotary hammer is probably a better choice. It still does a decent job of breaking up hard material, and it can also drill smooth holes.
