Seems decent
I’ve installed a few of these on high traffic doors. Needed a little adjustment but otherwise good enough.

Too easy
A lot of these reviews said it was tricky to install. I didn’t even have to read the instructions. It was simple. Just looking at it, the hardware supplied and the parts you’re dealing with, and it all goes together easy peazy. The assembly was sturdier than some of y’all made it out to be. The bar was shorter than I anticipated. Probably only 28 inches. I didn’t measure it, though. I put it on a 3–0 door and it seems to me that it could’ve fit a 2–6 door.

Jackhammer
I had some concrete blocks that were buried in my flower beds and crepe myrtle’s had grown up through the holes in the blocks. This jackhammer made easy work to get the pieces out so I could have the stumps ground out. Love it!

Seems to work well
Seems to work well. It gets a little hot when used for more than a few minutes, but i have not experienced any problems with the tool.

A VERY EFFECTIVE JACK HAMMER
I like that the power is good its portable and light weight its easy to handle. I dislike that the bits length are not tall enough so I which they could be longer. I mainly use to dismantle bricks at home.

Pleasantly surprised
For the price, I wasn’t expecting much. Like most other reviewers reasoned, the price to buy this was more or less the same to rent, and I figured why not just buy. I wanted to bust up some concrete footings in my back yard that were used for a privacy fence. I bought the 1400w version — again, not expecting much. But I was pleased to find that this tool was perfect for the job. I know some people have said there was oil leaking and the packaging was bad upon arrival, but that was not my experience. Everything was perfect and well protected. I’m very happy with this breaker, and I’m sure I’ll use it for other projects as they come up. Worth every penny.

Great for breaking up concrete and caleche clay.
This review is for the 1400 watt model. I had to bust up a section of concrete that was 12\" thick, 18\" high and 32\" wide, then dig through the caleche clay that was underneath. For those not familiar with caleche, it's like digging in asphalt. You hit it with a shovel, and it just chips out a small chunk. The chisel and spike bits that this tool comes with made relatively quick work of the concrete. The goggles that came with the tool are not of very good quality, but would be better than nothing. I used safety glasses that I had for other projects, along with a good set of earmuffs to protect what is left of my hearing. (A lesson that I learned too late in life) The tool is not exactly light weight, but it needs to be heavy to work and hold up. I'm 70 years old, and could handle it fine. It is well worth the price paid, as it would have cost 3-4 times that much to rent a tool for as long as the project took, and I still have the tool for any other projects in the future. The trigger lock button was very helpful in that it allowed me to use it in positions that would have made holding the trigger in the “ON” position uncomfortable and awkward. For the caleche clay, I purchased a 2” wide chisel to fit the demolition hammer. It worked great. If purchasing chisels for this unit you must be sure that you are getting what they refer to as the 5/8\" hex shank style. On that style chisel, the round end section measures 13mm (.5\") in diameter, and the hex portion measures 17mm (.7\"). (See photos) The SDS, BOSCH, and larger hex chisel bits will not fit this model. I could not find a clay spade that would fit this demolition hammer, so I used the 2\" chisel to break up the caleche clay, then a regular shovel to remove the broken-up material. Using a spade, you would probably still want to use a regular shovel to remove the material anyhow as the hammer would be too heavy for shoveling material. Also noted, this model does not use oil in a reservoir with a

Nice Little Jack Hammer
Perfect size for one.person demolition. Ripped up an old ceramic tile floor easily. Much easier to handle than the big rental hack hammer, abd same price as a rental. Highly recommend.
