This heater was very easy to install; the directions were great! The Vevor Diesel Air Heater All-in-one 12V 8KW Bluetooth App LCD throws excellent heat. My only critique is a that the Vevor heater is a bit noisy.

Very compact and easy to use . Very good on fuel also. I would definitely buy another one. I arrived fast than normal, i live off grid and in a rural area.

Solid product. Some of the hoses seem a little cheap but the actual heating unit does what it says and it does it well. I bought 2 for times without power while camping and for home use when gotta heat a little shed.

Assembly was easy and quick. Once it gets up and running it puts out the heat. My garage is an oversized 1 car, and was able to keep it above 40 degrees F all winter. Running it with a salamander it pushes 75 easy while working on stuff.

You have to love patent expiration.... :-) Seriously, these little guys are great. I'd love to have the ability to set the temperature in Fahrenheit, but heh, its Chinese so Celsius it is. The pump could be quieter (there are aftermarket ones that are) and I'd like the option to set a "deadband" in the controller and have it actually cycle off and back on. I understand why they don't -- the cycle-on (and off) requires a LOT of power to run the glowplug, and killing the battery is a concern. The issue can be that if the "lowest" setting is not low enough you will roast as when the setpoint is reached it goes to the lowest output but does remain on. Having the ability to set a large (say, 5F or 2-3C) deadband where if it goes that much over setpoint it actually turns off, and restarts when it drops back below the setpoint as an option (but not the default) would be nice where one doesn't care about power consumption (e.g. an RV on a shore cord.) With that said -- I've put several nights on it now in my converted trailer in freezing and below temperatures and I'm stunned at how little fuel this thing consumes for the warmth it puts out, and the miserly drain on the battery bank (once running) for the fan. There is a serious concern with the muffler included in that it is not sealed AT ALL and thus leaks exhaust all over the place which, if its under the cabin, can lead to serious trouble. That's fixable with either an aftermarket (again) muffler or some high-temp (e.g. exhaust) sealant, but this really should be addressed by the seam being fully-welded instead of tack-welded. Be careful going through anything potentially combustible; the exhaust side pipe can exceed 500F (IR thermometer verified) which is an obvious ignition risk; ceramic wrap or a dual-wall pipe is necessary; fiberglass (such as is used on a motorcycle pipe) wrap is NOT sufficient. *DO* have a CO monitor just in case. I also replaced the fuel tank with one that has a vertical standpipe and top exit -- the included one is serviceable but anything with a fitting on the bottom is begging for a leak eventually. Diesel stinks and leaks are bad; this should be addressed. I like the remote -- it works well -- but I do not use the bluetooth app as its not an official Android "Play Store" app and I don't like sideloading things; there's just too much risk. Vevor should submit to Google's store for the Android devices so it can be loaded directly without bypassing security. One star off on "features" for the fuel tank design, no Fahrenheit option and leaky muffler, all of which I corrected. I have no idea what durability will be like but I have taken a look inside and there's really not a lot to these things. This one has altitude adjustment built in so it shouldn't run "rich" (and soot up) at high alt.

Heater
Fair value for the money. Not super well made, and doesn't put out a lot of heat, but will warm a small space.

Vevor 8kw Heater Review
Vevor 8KW Diesel Heater: A Great Heater for My Travel Trailer (with some modifications) I've been using the Vevor 8KW diesel heater in my travel trailer for a while now, and I'm impressed with its performance. Here's a breakdown of my experience: Pros: Quiet Operation: One of the biggest benefits for me is how quiet this heater is. Even when running outside the trailer, the noise level is minimal and doesn't disrupt sleep or relaxation. Efficient Heating: This 8KW heater puts out a lot of heat, which is perfect for keeping my travel trailer warm and cozy in chilly weather. Easy Control with Bluetooth App: The Bluetooth app is a fantastic feature that allows me to control the heater remotely from inside the trailer. It's convenient and user-friendly. Budget-Friendly: Compared to other heaters on the market, the Vevor is a more affordable option. Cons (with solutions): Air and Fuel Filter Needed: Since I keep my trailer on dusty ground, I found it necessary to add an air filter and fuel filter for extra protection. These are inexpensive add-ons that can extend the life of the heater. While not mentioned in the instructions, other users recommend this in online forums Instruction Manual: The included instructions could be clearer and more detailed. I found some helpful information about installation and troubleshooting online [YouTube videos about Vevor 8KW diesel heater]. Overall: Overall, I'm very happy with the Vevor 8KW diesel heater. It provides quiet and efficient heating for my travel trailer, and the Bluetooth app makes it a breeze to control. With some minor modifications, it’s been a perfect solution for keeping me warm on the go. I would recommend this heater to anyone looking for a powerful and affordable way to heat their RV or campervan. Additional notes: I purchased the heater for between $126.00, which is consistent with what I found online. User reviews give the heater an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars on [various online retailers]

A successful garage heater implementation
I built a mini "furnace" for my garage around this 8kw heater kit. I upgraded the fuel line and exhaust tubing, but otherwise used the rest of the kit. The results are great. I get consistent good heat to take the chill out of the air on cold days. https://youtu.be/_VZfNrZJs5s

Quality
Works great, turns on and off every time. Puts out great heat making my 2 car garage comfortable enough to do projects in during the winter. I previously bought another diesel heater off amazon, due to not being able to adjust for elevation the burn chamber would always get clogged with soot. It was always throwing error codes and finicky to keep running, this diesel heater adjust for that and runs clean. The app could use some work though
