Installed in an afternoon. Most of the supplied hardware was of no use, but a few bucks at the hardware store and I was off to the races.As others have mentioned, the manual is almost useless. If you have some understanding of what a dro does, then it is good enough to fill in the blanks.Some of the buttons are abbreviated in an odd way (e.g. CTR for calculator), but it's not that big of a hurdle. Just remember that English is not this things first language.I had to set the resolution of the scales to 0.2 so they would read correctly. Out of the box it was showing 5 inches of travel per inch. That was a frightening 10 minutes, but everything checks out fine now.I haven't played with all the functions yet, but so far everything works great.

It is everything they say it is. No instructions for installation but if you are a machinist then it's no different than any other installation. The scales are glass so as always, be careful to not drop or just slap them on. You must make sure they are true and indicated to the axis. I personally like the owner's manual. It was just English and I didn't have to thumb through 5 other languages. So far the DRO works fabulously.

A lot more accurate than the dials and you can come back to the same spot with very high accuracy.

Works great. Looks like any expensive unit I have seen. I needed to make one of my slides smaller and I cut it slow on my bandsaw tapped a few small holes for the end cap and now perfect fit for my Bridgeport.

I wanted a 3 axis DRO for my Grizzly G1126 gearhead mill. This was the perfect solution for me and I had no trouble fitting it to the machine. I would recommend this product to anyone wanting an economical DRO retrofit solution

Need to be creative on mounting.. but when you figure it out!!! WOW!!
