Worked for my under the counter led lights

I installed this product as part of a kitchen renovation exercise. The undercounter cabinet lighting was originally run on 5W incandescent festoon bulbs which required 2x300W AC to AC transformers to power the 40 odd bulbs. When I substituted 12V DC 0.5W LED festoons (designed for automotive use), dimming was a hit or miss affair at best and flickering was occasionally a major issue.

Used this paired with Hitlights SMD3528 LED light strip, and a Lutron Dimming Occ sensor. They look great, work great, dim beautifully! I would recommend!

I loved the size of this. Was able to install it in wall behind my bathroom mirror leaving an access panel so I can still reach it. Dimming from 100%-1% is smooth with no buzzing coming from the transformer.

This thing is a beast. One of the most powerful drivers on the market but there are some gotchas that I discovered along the way. So here’s my little lesson that will hopefully help you out.

Great product works as advertised, let’s see how long it last

This did exactly what I needed it to do. I had some LED lights that I wanted to dim. I was told I had to put the dimmer on the low voltage side, however my electrician had already wire the dimmer into the switch on the line voltage side. This allowed me use that dimmer, which really was exactly what I wanted.

All good, arrived on time, have used the product before and expect it will do the job for the LED under cabinet lights we installed for a customer

Product seems to be of good quality and it was easy to set up and doesn’t heat up after being left on for a while. The wiring diagram was easy to follow. Most importantly it worked with my 12 feet of HitLights high density, single color led strip lighting for under my cabinets!
