Assembly was fairly simple and completed in about 30 minutes. You'll need 2 13 MM wrenches or 1/2 inch wrench. I was missing a bolt which I expected after reading other reviews. The stairs are solid but you should expect some wiggle in the handles although it don't think it'll make a difference in use. They include little screws to attach to a dock but I wouldn't trust those. Go with lags. I'll know more once we get it in the water but overall it should work for your needs.

The dock ladder was easy to assemble, although the instructions were poorly written. Some screws were shown on instructions yet not shown how used. The dock will serve its intended purpose.

We are not using ours in the water. We have a Skoolie with a back porch and go to Tiny House Festivals where thousands of people walk thru the bus. It has held up great easy to assemble Would highly recommend this product and 1/2 the price of anything else I found

versatile size made it fit just right, easy to assemble. rail a little loose but plenty solid. wish I had found this product years ago as no more worries of elderly and little ones getting out of the water

Easy to assemble, light weight but very sturdy. Shipping packaging could be better, box gave way in transit and some hardware went missing, but easily replaced so no big problem.

It was easy to set up and it's adjustability was nice.

Great experience throughout whole process and steps are really nice.
