One minor part was missing and the process to get that part provided was arduous and frustrating; being able to deal only with chat bots that could not understand that ladder was unusable without the part. They would not expedite; taking over 3 days to respond to request and then suggesting up to another 15 days to deliver missing part

This retractable dock ladder is a solid unit well-suited for boat or dock use. While we initially tried it as a loft ladder on our farm, it felt loose and floppy for that specific application. We used it temporarily before switching to a library ladder kit for a more stable solution. However, I recommend it for its intended purpose, such as at a dock. Its adjustable height and nonslip pedals make it practical and safe for marine environments.

This ladder took about an hour to build, based on a skilled maintenance technician/handyman. Unfortunately, the package did not include one required and proprietary part. Luckily, customer support was superb in assisting and shipping a replacement part. The shipping took a while as it came from overseas, but no customs issues were encountered. We installed this on the end of our dock. We got it in late in the season, so we did not have much opportunity to utilize it, but it feels sturdy and reliable.

Easy assembly. Quality material. It was missing the straps to anchor to the dock but the seller was responsive and provided an appropriate replacement. The ladder is lightweight and easy to use. We take it out of the water when not using.

The instructions state to wear gloves - you definitely should. The risk of nicking your hand are high without them. I thought the assembly was challenging for this. The way the steps are inserted into the sides was most of the issue. I got there in the end. The instructions were't terrible. I never could see the difference they made between two groups of screws that were the same size, that was odd. From the instructions, I was missing a couple of parts that help secure the ladder to the dock. I can manage without that. My cottage overlooks the river and I like to kayak but don't have a very convenient way of reaching the water when the tide is low (flows in from the bay). Now I do.

Ordered this ladder as a replacement to a ladder we had in our canal front home that sits between the Chesapeake Bay and the ocean. Our existing ladder had skinny stairs and was not adjustable to tidal changes. This one is such a huge improvement. It’s lightweight but quite sturdy, and improves the experience of using our canal tenfold. It was more challenging than I’d have hoped to assemble, however. Lots of assembly required, and a few missing pieces that were remedied with a trip to our local hardware store. Overall I’m satisfied with its improved usefulness despite the difficulty in assembling.

Got this for my pool it was easy to install and it looks amazing. It was very easy to install and had no trouble with the ladder not fitting the side of the pool.

It's a great aluminum ladder, not the strongest available but great for the price. The adjustability makes it a good buy as you can deal with fluctuating water depth depending on location and season. Iinitially we were intending to use this with our smaller pontoon boat, however it ended up being the perfect size for use with our shoreline fishing pier. The all aluminum construction is quality, and I have no doubt this will last for years to come.
