There really is nothing to dislike if you fully understand how this works. Read the manual, and watch a youtube video first before using. This works exactly as designed, very powerful little machine. Saved a $200 service call the first use (which paid for it). Very heavy, and it is not speedy--but it 100% does the job. I used it to clear roots from a 4 inch sewer pipe, my main issue was boredom as I followed instructions. I will take that over the self attempted messes with hand equipment in the past.

It wasn't the easiest to use, but I was able to unclog a root filled french drain line, probably will clog up again soon as the roots will continue to grow. I will try to go through it periodically before it gets completely blocked as it was this time. I have pressure washer drain cleaner that I have used in the past, but that would not even budge the multi foot long clog, once I got a path thru, I repeated the process from the opposite direction ,then I used my pressure washer drain cleaner to finish. It has been a couple weeks, the drainage is working area is pretty dry was standing water before using the machine

Recently, I encountered a blocked drain pipe issue and sought assistance from a professional plumber. The total cost of the service amounted to $250. Shortly after this incident, I received a call from one of my clients regarding a similar clogged pipe problem. This presented an opportunity for me to utilize the newly acquired drain cleaning machine. It is pertinent to mention that assembling and operating this machine required a considerable amount of effort and expertise. I would definitely recommend this product to others, as it is well-built and durable.

Saves me hundreds on plumbing issues. It has already paid for itself twn times over.

This machine did the job it was bought for. Everyone here was pleased with it.

Was a good purchase, glad I bought it. Have used the drain snake now for over a year on home's and at a 28 condo complex, working great, it does require two people to operate ( foot pedal doesn't work sometimes) .this machine gets the job done, for half the price.

I’m reviewing the Vevor 50FT X 1/2inch Sewer Snake Cleaning Machine on 4 wheels with 4 cutters and foot switch for 1”-4” Pipes. ($249). Overall I’m satisfied with the product. The most important reason is that… In the end, It got the job done! The drain/ sewer line from my kitchen sink was clogged. Attempts to clear it with vinegar, baking soda & hot water failed. Attempts to clear it with hand snake with power drill attachment also failed. Figured I’d try this larger and more powerful snake since the cost was probably what a plumber would have charged. Here are some observations I’d like to share with you: -Even though you could save $40, go for this model WITH the wheels. This thing is heavy to move. - Note: This model while it is electric, does NOT have auto forward and reverse functions. I ASSUMED it did but discovered you have to advance and retract line manually. If you want auto features you have to buy a more expensive unit. Just beware. -The option of being able to select different heads is a big plus allowing you to customize your snaking based on the type of clog. -The difference between this line and the traditional hand / drill power snake line is considerable. This one has girth to it. You have so much more confidence that this will get the job done! - This is not a product that ships immediately. If you need a unit right away, forget about it! - It arrived pretty much already assembled. I only had to attach the wheels. - The instructions do not clearly define parts of drum operation and provide no instructions for attaching wheels; there are two types of wheels and you have to ‘figure it out.’ - One of the cutter heads (C-Cutter) broke off inside the sewer line. I’m guessing it was a combination of pipes being too narrow to navigate a turn in the line and poor quality cutter blade. (Hope this doesn’t come back to haunt me later.) - While everyone suggests wearing gloves, I would add… goggles, face mask and a long sleeve shirt and long p

Had a serious blockage that my 25' snake couldn't reach, nor could a borrowed 50 footer. This unit was shipped and arrived the next day, which really helped since I was unable to use the shower, toilet or washing machine. I love this unit, which was well priced, but be aware that it is HEAVY. However, once you get it in place, it is reasonably easy to use and it cleared the drain. While it might have cost less to call Roto Rooter, I now have a unit available that can clear any future drainage problems right away, and won't have to call a plumber and make any appointment if I want a rapid solution
