Cheaper than a plumber
I don't have this one, and I paid less, but it has paid for itself several time s over the years. At $80 a shot, it's a lot cheaper than calling a plumber every time. I use mostly on line going to septic tank and a couple times to unclog toilets. Well worth the money and make sure you get a decent one. Much more efficient than old fashioned snake.

good product
I really like this machine it is not as heavy and it fits in my trunk. I do not have to rent from places like Home Depot I just leave it in my garage. We are very happy about this Electric Drain Auger. It is very sturdy we were able to use it ourselves with out calling a plumber. The price is also great! I really recommend it. You won’t regret !-Carolina Velazquez

works but difficult to add attachments
This is a power tool. Respect it, or you could easily hurt yourself. Read all directions before using. I finally had cause to use the augur as I had a slow main drain that would only back up when doing heavy loads of wash. I used the spiral head attachment. The spiral head attachment would not insert into the end of the snake. The attachment insert was too thick. It took about 30 minutes to get the attachment to fit. I resorted to using a mallet to tap the pieces together. Once I had it together, the augur worked exactly according to the directions. I bought this augur while it was discounted. It saved me a lot of money to do it myself rather than calling a plumber. This augur bored right into the clog, pulled much of it out, and cleared the rest. I used almost all of the footage of snake. It is a very messy job, but it is made easier by having the power rotation.A word of caution -- be sure to not hold onto the snake too tightly while you have the power rotation on. The snake has a tendency to grab the cloth of the gloves and twist it. If it does happen, don't panic. Immediately release the foot pedal, pull your hand out of the glove, unwrap the glove. It happened to me twice. Some people complained about the weight, but it has to be that heavy or the machine would flop around when power is turned on.

Great Customer Service & It Works!
The electric snake we have was much too big and we needed a commercial product that would work just as well on smaller pipes. We purchased with attachments, and within the first hour, all our issues were resolved. It was easy to use and to clean up with is was finished. The snake is now in storage, where we hope it stays for a long time.

Best investment for the business
Package arrived a few days early, was just what the company needed. Being from a small community with one plumber in town and high labor cost it was cheaper to buy than hire them. product meets all our needs and is easy to use.

Works as advertised
Bought this to clear out the underground pipes that are connected to my rain gutters. They are blocked by tree roots. This thing seems effective if not dangerous. The included gloves saved me from what would have been some bad damage to my hands and fingers. The gloves are really only single use as they both tore. It struggled to clear out the 4" pipes of roots and i think I just need to buy specialized cutting blade. Not sure if I actually cleared them until we get a heavy rain when they normally overflow. Too much pipe to try to test with a garden hose. The key is to go slow and don't force it and it won't kink up as often. It reminds me of something from the days before safety guards were standard which is fine, just pay attention and keep your hands away and unplug it when you have to reach in and unkink the snake.
