The cable is not working great for the job keep twisting together we try to work on it but it doesn’t work out

Worked as it should. Easy operation once you get used to it. Cable kinked up a few times inside & outside the drum but learned how to avoid that. Definitely worth the purchase. Oh it does have some weight to it.

Had this for a few months now. Had to get it out for first use on a clogged sewer line, Started out using the auto feed lever and thought it was going well until the cable caught. It bound up the cable in the drum. This caused the cable to unwind where it goes the the feed part. Could not pull cable out or push it back into drum. I gave up and pulled it back out of sewer line and found that I had only gone 10 feet into a 4 inch pipe! The cable had also came apart at the end of it! The outer spring was holding it together to get it pulled out. VERY disappointed. I had to go rent another drain auger. Exactly why I purchased the drain auger to start with, I did NOT want to have to drive for an hour to go RENT one! Wasted my money on this purchase.

I had rented commercial units in the past and decided it was time to have one. This unit did what I needed and cleared my main line paying for itself in the first use.

Pretty good so far. If you know how to use it. As a residential plumber, I’m able to clear three and 4 inch lines with a 3/8 cable. I love that it has multiple and different attachments just in case I happen to lose one

Overall the cleaner seems durable and well built it n looks very good for such a tool . It’s heavy as expected you really need to buy one with wheels otherwise your backs going to suffer. Thus unit had no tool tray do I had to make my own , not a deal breaker but it shows one in the manual , but not on the actual website so I may overlooked the obvious. It’s really quiet considering what. It’s used for , the durability of the future I’m. It sure of since I just have gotten this machine. I do expect it to last many years as I’m not a big user , maybe a few times a year since I’m on a septic tank .I do like the auto feed of the cable It works quite well , the 1/2 cable should be stout enough for the clogs I’ll encounter. I only bought 50 ft , I will likely buy 100 ft cable since I can exchange this for really long drains outside my house and the price is much better on vevor than anyone else . I did get a better profit machine on here than a big box store. Shipping for me came by fedex in two days time . If your in the fence and your drain is giving you a lot of headaches I personally think it’s worth the money to not worry about the future clogs your likely to get .

The only thing is that there are no replacement parts for the model D1000. On ly 1 yerar warranty after that if a part fails there is no options. Right now mine has the feeder rollers broken and can not find them.
