The hoist will not be installed until spring when an engineered beam will be in place. It arrived well packaged and in good condition. When tested without load it operated as it should.

Needs 3 phase 220V not single
Hoist arrived, appears in good shape, but found out it requires 3 phase 220V to operate, not single phase that most homes have. It’s not made obvious in the listing so Check your electrical grid first, now I have a 300 lb paperweight.

Less than one year old, used approx 5 times, unit self destructed
Light infrequent use, unit spit a bolt and blew the side of the hoist case out. Pretty disappointing for the high cost. No way of contacting vendor
