Super smooth. Easy to use. The only thing I don't like is the lower knob adjusts two things at once.

This the extra expense of this model will pay for itself very quickly. The hydraulic assist is so much faster that I can sharpen my longer chain (173 links) in about 5 minutes. Thats extremely fast. I have 8 of them. By hand it would take my hours and with non hydraulic assist I would estimate 15-20 minutes per chain (of the 173 link size). So if you have lots of chains, a small shop or do lots of milling....get this.

This bench grinder is well made. I had a bench grinder before this one but it ws no where in the same class.

We are very happy with this. We had to adapt the stand, so my husband could sit, because it does take a while to sharpen the chain, but other than that, it has saved money and when we need to sharpen a chain, it’s right there, we don’t have to go to the hardware store.

There is nothing to dislike!

Love this grinders perfect cuts every time. Do it right the first time. After opening the box that my chain came it the angles needed are on that paperwork at least in the Stihl chains. I wish I had bought it long ago

I use this grinder to sharpen 3/4 pitch harvester chains. It does a fantastic job! I am very impressed with the quality work it does.

And I sharpened 8 chains in led than 40 minutes so efficient.

I’m a logger and I sharpen chain almost every day. This one works well! Buy a diamond wheel for it. There expensive but worth it if you sharpen a lot of the High Speed Harvester Chain.
