The vibrator didn't last through one load of concrete, though it may have been my fault. First of all the button to lock the trigger on quit working early on, actually it wouldn't release and I had to unplug the vibrator. But the next problem may have been my fault for not for not getting the wand screwed on tight enough. I had it attached to a backpack, vibrating a wall, until the wand detached, tearing up the drive shaft in the process.

I absolutely love this compactor. It compactor just as good as any name brand plate compactor on the market. It's simple gas powered design makes for a reliable machine that I can count on. Very happy with it

Bearly vibrates, motor smells like the brushes are melting, the housing is very thin. Overall it's a very poor product

I used this to compact into ICF’s (Insulated Concrete Forms) and it worked perfectly. Although the plastic housing of the motor looks like it may not be up to being dropped onto a hard surface more than a few times, the working end of the tool is very robust and durable.

For a homeowner DIYer considering pouring any concrete or grouting block, this is a great item to have. Eliminates air bubbles just as good as the heavier duty models.

The hose and head are pretty beefy, theses look like they should hold up fine. the handle/motor section you're going to want to watch. not jobsite tough. It will be fine if you take care but it looks like it would not be happy about being slammed around

This vibrator worked just as expected. I've used it on a couple concrete jobs so far with no trouble. I used it to consolidate the pour of every core in a CMU basement, I'm happy with the purchase.

Vibrator worked well. Could have used a smaller one however I expect to require this one for a upcoming project. Definitely glad I selected this unit.

Easy to use. trigger is pressure sensitive. Used it to make 4ft deep footers. Worked great. Dropped it on brick and it survived.

Does a great job vibrating concrete and is loud as hell. Like other reviewers you have to shake the wand to get it vibrating. Its my first vibrator and I am impressed. Assembly is simple with attaching the shaft to the motor. This connection is left hand thread which I did not see mentioned anywhere. I thought I had a lemon until I figured it out. The motor housing seems flimsy and seems like abs with no glass fiber reinforcement. It has so far handled 105 bags of concrete and still works perfect. For the price it cannot be beat.
