It works great, I put it on an I beam, so I had to weld some angle iron onto my trolly then bolt it to the hoist. I like the fact that it is remote controlled. I put the long strap on it so I can rase it above any thing I pull into the shop. Or you would need to put some weight on it so it would lower without having the cable unspool to much while lowering. I set it up for 2200 lb lift

Used this to build an elevator I'm my shop. Works amazingly! Solid design and heavy as sin. Would say however the mounting bracket as roughly made. Additionally, although it doesn't say it in the description, the winch is actually half the lb rating on a single strand and requires a pulley for the listed capacity.

It was damaged when I received it. The packaging was inferior. Customer support was prompt and they worked with me. Overall, I’m happy.

Love it. Its better than the battery operated winch I was using. I use it to load material up to my loft.

I use mine to lift stuff into the attic (instead of trying to carry objects up my rickety attic ladder). The remote is responsive and works well, but it is too easy to hold it upside down (and hit the wrong button). This hoist is a lot more powerful than I will ever need. The brake stops the reel immediately. I am ordering a second one for my garage.

Didn't realize power cord wasn't 14 feet and its only about 6 feet. Easy fix just hadn't expected it. Seems to operate as advertised. C channel Unistrut fits nicely in the mounting brackets. Lifts very quickly for its capacity. So far its been a good purchase!

Very nice hoist for the money. Directions don't come with it just have to look it up on YouTube. Easy install after watching a video.

Quick delivery and it looks great...........this will be about it for today since I have not installed it yet so can't comment on its functionality.

I bought this hoist so I could make a garage elevator/lift it works perfectly. I feel like the wireless remote is a must have!
