Just installed yesterday and it works as intended. The only suggestion I would have for the manufacturer is, to have a longer power cord.

Bought this for an installation that will see occasional use lifting a 500ish pound antique hose cart to a 20' elevated platform. It will be used a few times a year and needs to work when it needed but didnt justify spending 2-3x the price. The quality is good- consistent with Harbor Freight's line of imported tools. It has been cycled with load 8x or so to date and has no issues. I purchased something with a capacity 3x what I needed to allow for a fudge factor, but so far this thing seems to be a champ. If you are looking for bang for the buck this is your firecracker buddy. Try it. -A.K.

Used to easily hang my kayak in my garage. Works to loft small engines or battery’s.

Got the lift, Took a while to install it, after installation discovered the loud noise. Too late to get a new one, so hopefully I can get it fixed at a local electric motor repair shop.
