We bought it to hang our jeep roof. Had to buy extra screws and adapt with metal bars so we could reach more studs.

Works great. Very heavy so have an extra set of hand available and a sturdy ladder

Seems like a good quality build. Out standing value for the features. Runs a lot quieter than the more expensive other unit that I am replacing.

I wouldn’t know how I like it because I never received it 😡 I can’t get a straight answer. Would be great if I could talk to a person instead of a computer. You keep saying it was delivered by the pictures I send showing it’s definitely not a winch

Never received this item. Return process sucks. Finally got a refund. What a fiasco. Hope someone changes the process and makes return process gets better and the shipping company they use sucks even worse. I never received 2 items or even notification that they were delivered.

As stated with the trolley, the overall lifting height is reduced by 24 inches. It functions like it is supposed to, but negates the purpose of having the hoist if you can't lift it up.

Great hoist. Used it for I lift I built in my garage. Easy to get running and installed. Would definitely recommend this hoist and this company

This is a great hoist for the money! I purchased a beam at Home Depot and lag screwed it to the ceiling of my garage across the rafters. I put trolleys on the hoist so now I have the ability to position it to where it is most functional for the job at hand. I really like the remote control feature. It works flawlessly and is so convenient to not have the control tethered to the hoist. It comes with two straps that are well made and sturdy and will last a long time. I use this hoist to lift up my Deere lawn tractor to make working under the deck (sharpen blades, etc) easier and it is perfect for it. Since installing it, I have found many more uses for it. Don't know how I got by without it!

I installed this in my garage to lift Christmas decorations into the attic. It lifts a loaded platform with ease.
