Ordered 2 of these with remotes one came with 2 remotes in the box and the other came with none. So the 2 remotes only work with that winch the other only works with the corded controller. I reached out to vevor with no response from multiple sources of there's

We use this winch for deer hunting. We have it mounted on an overhead beam at our cleaning station. This thing rocks!! It's been through 3 hurricanes and it's still working like a champ!

I got this hoist to lift my 5th wheel hitch and Generator in and out of the truck bed. Arrived on time, well packaged, easy to set up and operates as described. Suggestions I have is having an ON/OFF switch on the wired remote so that when/If the hoist is too high to reach it from the ground it can still be turned ON/OFF from the wired remote. Would be nice to have an emergency shut off switch as well. Currently I have it plugged into an extension cord running overhead from the outlet to my overhead automatic garage opener that is 12 feet away. I will be adding a standard electrical wall switch box that I will run wire from it to an electrical outlet mounted to the joist next to the hoist to plug into. This way I'll be able to leave the hoist power switch in the ON position and then be able to turn it ON/OFF from the wall switch. For this reason is why I gave 4 star rating for features. Sorry, for some reason I was unable to add JPEG photos to this review.

Read the reviews and knew what to expect. Performs as described in reviews. A little extra runout both ways but precise winching is not a requirement of mine. So I am happy with the product and performance for the price. I will continue to purchase Vevor products.

I purchased this winch to lift my fold up motorcycle trailer up the wall. In the past it took 2 of us to manhandle it. This winch has made this job a breeze, wish I had purchased one of these winches years ago!

Was looking for an easy way to lift a heavy (350 pound) 5th wheel hitch out of the truck bed. I tried a similar looking item from another “Huge” on line retailer but the remote control was DOA so I sent it back. I then stumbled upon the Vevor website and decided to take a chance on someone other than the Huge on line seller that I purchase everything else from. The positives. The Price. It cost less than half of other solutions out there. All three engagement options worked right out of the box. The two remote controls came with a battery. It lifted the hitch with no problem. I have used it three times and it is great. I can finally install and remove the hitch by myself with little effort. The price for the three way version was less than similar two way switch hoists from the Huge on line vendor. The Clevis slip hook allows suspended load to rotate 360 degrees. Great for aligning the lock pins for my 5th wheel hitch. The Negatives As others noted there is significant hysteresis in the operation of the unit. It will continue to lift or continue to drop for a second or two after you let go of the up/down switch. This equates to about an inch of lift or drop. Why? When you let go of the switch the inertia of the motor continues to rotate the system for a second or two. For my use I was able to work around this issue. The cable guide plate (the fairlead) where the cable feeds onto the spool is not centered. I noticed the cable rubs on this when in use The problem is this plate is made of steel and not aluminum, the proper material for a fairlead. Not a huge issue unless you use this multiple times a day. I dinged this one star under quality/design for this reason. Noteworthy Items Not a pro or a con As other reviews noted this unit does not have an electric brake that stops the hoist the instance the switch is turned off. However this does not mean the hoist will not hold a load when the switch is off. I even tested the unit by unplugging the hoist and it held the 350 pound load steady. I added additional weight and it did not budge. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING YOU STORE HEAVY LOADS BY SUSPENDING THEM with the hoist alone. I am just commenting the hoist did not back wind even with power turned off while suspending more than 500 pounds. As others commented you can hear the motor when in use. I don’t believe the noise is excessive and similar to other winches I have used. Keep in mind like all winches the actual motor runs at a high RPM with the drum rotation geared down for power vs speed. I am unable to comment on reliability. As noted I have used it three times with no issues. Initial quality was good. It would be great if they sold this with a storage bag. I am using an old gym bag for now. Bottom Line: Inexpensive tool for lifting heavy items and would certainly buy it again. Good Luck

Great unit that works awesome. Strong, fast and looks very durable. Would buy again if I needed another one.

Takes the hard away from lifting cast iron parts. Nice to have a helper in the garage. Would recommend it
