Cuts clean!
Great device, especially for the price. It is very sturdy, the mechanism to hold the paper is very strong, and the lever allows you to generate enough force for even thick volumes. One odd thing that others also noticed is that the sliding holder is not fully square, and if you use it you end up with cuts that leave the paper a touch shorter on one end than the other. But I just never use it, it's a bit clunky to move anyway, and only go by the markings on the bottom plate; doing so makes the cuts come out right.

This one cut about 150 cards at once and sliced through it like butter. Amazing
I just got it today and used it. I'm a teacher and I need it to cut index cards, and regular paper cutters can't cut more than 10 index cards at a time. This one cut about 150 cards at once and sliced through it like butter. Amazing. It is heavy, but it cuts well. The little handle that raises the blade was on backwards but after you put it on right it's easy to use.

Great tool for recycling paper project
This is a marvelous office tool! I am using it to cut magazines, journals and books -- part of a project to scan all this into my computer so I can recycle the paper and make space. The cuts are excellent and scanning goes so much better than without it (when I had uneven paper edges and bits of glue that jammed the paper feeder on my scanner).

Great time saver
We cut reams of cardstock to different sizes in our business. This performs very well. Bought it to replace an old cutter that would now cost over $4000 to replace. This does an excellent job for us. Just remember it is in metric dimensions, so just have a conversion app or chart ready. The smallest it cuts is 50mm (2"). We need some 1 3/4" cuts, so we put a small 1/4" plate behind it and adjust the dimension accordingly.

As advertised - well built product
it actually cuts the thick sheets of paper easily and cleanly. it is a real tool. heavy duty. I couldn't fit my 500 sheets of 24lb paper all at once. i did half and half. you will be happy with this life long product.

Economical Addition to Finishing Department
This unit replaced a similar one that wasn't working properly. This is an upgrade from what we have and all functions work as expected. Happy with this purchase!

Church Administrative Assistant
Our church was on the fence to buy this or a manual paper cutter to cut bulletin inserts and other stacks of paper in large quantities. We don't use it every week, but we use it monthly for sure. This electric paper cutter is so handy, quick, and gets us consistent cuts. The price is not a lot higher than what we had been looking at and we are happy with it.

Wrong power cord installed on delivered machine
This machine was shipped with a 110V cord attached but needs 220V. We had the electrician install 220V outlet. We can't use our machine and are wasting money sending work out to be cut. Service has been slow and through email. You send an email and get a formulaic response. Then a day later an email that reads in riddles: "Thank you for your inquiry. The department in charge has answered this: To connect to 220V electricity, not 110V. The motor of the 220V 60HZ motor must be 220V, 60HZ. Insufficient voltage of 110V will damage the motor. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us." After asking for clarification, I received an email three days later telling me they would give me a solution. Then an email the next day telling me I would receive a replacement plug in 5-15 days. No offer to pay the electrician to replace it, no tracking number and no part received at this point. (It's been 22 days). Update: We purchased this in August. On Sept. 4 I first wrote about our issue. On Oct. 11 we finally had a solution and they refunded us $516. We then hired an electrician to replace. The operation of the machine has been rather intuitive, but we cannot switch from milimeters to inches and there is nothing on the internet to help with this.

Print for Resale
We are a growing print shop and need a cutter every day. May not be ready for some of the name brand $18,000 machines but this machine at 2k made perfect sense. Does 85+% of what the higher priced machines do. Is a huge improvement over what we had before. And even if we only get 2-3 years out of this, it's perfect for us.

The operating manual is terrible. Though figuring it out so far, has been relatively simple. Not yet using full capabilities. Requires some "machine operator" capabilites. Oiling the machine is unclear on location, application and oil to apply
