Glad to have this machine in my kitchen. Scraps have a place to go and will be used again. It is exciting to see how much less food is in the garbage.

So far so good
This is nice for Winter months, or for anyone who can’t compost on their own property. It looks nice, it’s solid, and my experience is that I can collect without an odor for a few days, before running it. You will need to order the media/bacteria separately, or it won’t work correctly!

Compact yet powerful
I've been using this electronic composter for almost 3 months now and so far, I am very pleased with its performance and efficiency. This is a compact yet powerful solution for managing food waste in small kitchens. It automatically adjusts temperature and humidity for optimal composting, quickly turning food scraps into compost without unpleasant odors. The setup is easy, and it runs quietly. Its small size fits neatly on the countertop, and its sleek design blends with kitchen decor. It's also energy-efficient, making it ideal for regular use without worry.

Perfect for Small Spaces
I couldn't be happier with this 5L electric composter! It's compact yet powerful, making it the ideal solution for managing food waste in my small kitchen. The setup was straightforward, and it runs quietly, which is a huge plus. What impresses me most is how quickly it turns food scraps into usable compost—usually within hours! It handles everything from veggie peels to coffee grounds with ease, and there's no unpleasant odor thanks to its efficient filtration system. The size is perfect for a small household, and it fits neatly on my countertop without taking up too much space. The white color and simple design blends in with my kitchen. It's also energy-efficient, so I don't worry about running it regularly.

Sturdy construction
Much heavier construction than previous food waste composter. We've only had it for a short time now but it seems built to last, higher torque motor (brushless), working great so far. Larger capacity bucket nice also.

Not bad, but big and heavy
I'm still trying to find the best place to put this. It doesn't fit under any of the cabinets and while it does a decent job on the break down, it does take some time on that.

Really cool composter!
This has become a bit of a ritual to start adding our leftovers from dinner to the composter and it's made our adventures in gardening a LOT more fun. We feel a lot better about our food scraps now that we can recycle them into new soil for our veggie garden. Overall the machine was a little larger than I expected, but fits in well to our kitchen. I was thrilled that there really isn't much of a smell at all when the lid is closed.

Nice quick composter
I've always wanted to start composting, but a regular composter takes time and I wasn't sure how I would keep adding materials to it throughout. Plus we don't generate a TON of degradable items daily to have a large one. This tabletop composter was a great option to try out. First off, this is a fairly large unit. If you have a lot of counter space then this should be ok. It's like a really big bread maker. But I put mine on the floor next to my cabinets. It's nice and sleek looking and the white color keeps it modern. The one annoying thing is that you can't open this up unless it's plugged in. You have to push the \"Lock\" button for 2-3 seconds to open the lid. This is counter intuitive to what it should be. Also why not let me open it when there's no power so I can continue to add in scraps throughout the week. They tell you what you can and can't add to this. For the most part, most household generate food and plant waste is ok. It was nice not having to throw out a lot of scraps, peels, etc. There's a quick and long setting for composting. The quick setting essentially grinds everything up and does some composting. The longer (\"organic\") setting requires a compost accelerator (not included) to be added. I prefer it to be a proper compost so I did the longer setting and bought a basic accelerator (around $8). The accelerator should last a while as we only need a little bit based on amount of content in the bin. Click the button for composting and about 24 hours later it was ready. I was pleasently surprised at how the content came out. It was dry and had a good dirt like consistency. I'll have to experiment with the amount of accelerator and maybe grinding things in between to see how the consistency changes. But I can say that it did a good job and I'm looking forward to using it even more. It's a bit pricey, but getting the compost out quickly is a big bonus.

Awesome indoor composter! So easy!
I've been doing compost the old fashioned way-take it outside and wait for nature to decompose things. This takes a few shortcuts, but is so convenient! I can compost without leaving the house, and it is so quiet I hardly notice. It is about the same amount of noise as my dishwasher-which is not much. It accepts a wide variety of items, and really is super simple to use. The first time we used it, we filled it up with watermelon rinds and a few other things. It reduced so much, that we just added some banana peels and old bread to fill it back up and run it again. The picture is what we got out of it after running it twice. I've only used the quick setting, but it also has a organic setting to decompose using a starter (not included) and take a little longer(still will finish overnight). I know that composting the quick way won't bring forth the beneficial bacteria that are so great from good compost, but there should still be some mineral content and it is much better than throwing food waste away (or letting it rot somewhere and attract bugs because composting feels like too much work). Everything about this composter is so easy it feels like cheating. The hardest part is opening the lid, and that isn't too hard once you realize which buttons to push. Its easy enough to have older kids helping out (don't let little kids get too close to the blades in the bottom), and includes a child lock feature so it won't be a problem for really little kids. Very sturdy, and the slick look prevents it from being an eyesore. It will fit on the counter, but I like to use my counter space for other things so this lives on the floor.

Electric composter
Beautifully designed electric composter for countertop use. The versatile appliance grinds and heats food waste to form usable compost for gardens. The unit operates very quietly and without odor. It can also be used with an organic additive for further breakdown. Great way to reduce waste and nourish the soil.
