Horrible Design Flaw
The hopper doesn't fit inside the mill. Instead, it slides OVER the top! Imagine if a roof hand shingles installed backwards, with overlapping feature being backwards. That's what they designed for this product! As soon as the hopper is filled, juices pour out from the bottom of the hopper. I have a summer's worth of tomatoes to mill and had to go buy a different brand that isn't so poorly designed.

This machine was great to work with. Worth the purchase!! I had tried a smaller, hand crank, counter clamp machine prior to this one. It was leaking all over. It was tiring and so much effort for the same result. So glad for the new machine.

We canned about 50 qts of San Marzano tomatoes. Bet it didn’t run for more than 10 minutes total. I’ve also used it for several batches of raspberry jam. Removes about 2/3 of the seeds. Perfect amount for jam. It does tend to grind a small amount of the seeds at the end of the cone. Both for tomatoes and raspberries. Wish it had more cones and augers for a selection for other fruits like apples. Seeds are too big and will jam it. The cone mounting system is a bit cheap compared to commercial machines. But, it doesn’t cost $600.

Have to stop and clean out often
While it definitely is faster than a hand cranked contraption it needs to be disassembled and cleaned out often for best results

This is the best machine ever. Sure beats cranking the handle. It takes the tomatoes as fast as you can feed them in with no clogging or backups. You just have to remember to pause once in a while. We did over a bushel and ended up with 16 qts in no time.

I like the machine but not sure why some of the pulp was coming through into the tomato sauce. I hope that when I use it next time that I won’t have that problem.

I'm so impressed with this tomato strainer! It's been a game changer for canning my sauces & salsa. It's very easy to assemble & clean up is quick. The only con is that juice from the tomatoes or grapes did leak a bit when straining. I just put a towel under the attachment. So worth the money!! Heavy duty stainless steel- very well made!!

Easy to use and clean. Works great for removing tomato skins and seeds. Ample size hopper. Plenty of power and well made.
Nice product Nice product
Better than Manual
After yrs of using the manual crank version I decided to upgrade to this version. Vevor had the best price that I have found. With the old version I would have to run the pulp through after running the tomatoes. With this unit one time was enough to extract most of the pulp. That was quite a time saver. Also the unit was a lot easier to use than clamping the manual unit to the edge of the counter. I wish I had upgraded to this unit sooner.
